The latest eBay scam - be safe out there

It's not a terrible scam as far as cost goes - but something to watch out for. I was buying some cleaning pellets from eBay and when I received the package I got this.




And it's the wrong caliber from what I ordered. The Amazon item is about half of what the eBay listing was so the seller is making a huge profit.

Always good to comparison shop so you know what your max is when bidding on ebay. Always account for taxes and shipping, too.

The other scam on ebay and other auction sites is when sellers lowball the price but charge you exorbitant shipping fees. When you get the package the mailing label does not show the actual amount of postage. You just know they are keeping the excess....

Yeah - my fault for not shopping around this time. But to literally ship an Amazon order to you - dang!
