I pulled the 1322 out and finally ordered up the components I wanted for it for a long time. By way of Airgun Revisions came custom teak grips and forepiece. Along with the grips I also purchased the steel breach upgrade.
I finished with the installs the other day and have decided I am going to perform a little comparative contest between the 1322 and my RPA .177

There’s going to be several stages to this comparison on a separate post. It should turn out to be interesting to say the least. A nearly 50 year old design up against a modern regulated pcp.
I’ll let you in a little secret…

The 1322 working off of 8 pumps is EXTREMELY consistent. The RPA has real competition. Is the pumper gonna be like this the entire time? Unlikely, but you have to admit, a zero SD/Spread is pretty dang cool. More to come. This is with 18.1 gr FX pellets. Stay tuned.
