Good morning hunt with the k1, winds were calm and temperature was in the low 50’s . Gorgeous morning to be out and about. With all the foliage it’s tough to keep up with the little grays .

On that hunt I was out about 3 hours or so, that hunting location is pretty thick with briars and bush honeysuckle making quite stalking challenging but always memorable because I have hunted there for 45 years. 25.39 jsb is what the vet likes.

@Fishing 43 Oh I can see the mag. That is a Vet. That’s a nice amount of time afield. You’re speaking my language!! Sounds like a good hunt.


To edit your post title,
1) Look to the bottom left corner of your 1st post where it says “Report” in red letters.
2) tap the little drop down menu arrow/triangle next to the 3 dots.
3) Then tap “Edit”
4) once the screen changes to the editing screen, scroll up and tap the rectangular box with your title in it.
5) Move the cursor to behind where you’d like to begin deleting to remove the “Huben K1” and replace it with “Taipan Vet.”
6) Once it’s to your satisfaction, tap “save.”

Didn’t do any squirrel chasing but connected on a big fat Ghog while stalking pigeons. Oh, and found the water trouble.

Congratulations on both and the water troubles are?. I enjoy ghogs especially the hind quarters and backstrap. Excellent table fare.

Ha, thanks! Our coffee was tasting like +^%€ the last couple days, realized the water softener had malfunctioned & released salty water into the house line .
This would’ve been a hog worthy of the table, so fattened up the it was hard to hold onto the hind legs to carry it! I weighed a few last year with a luggage scale in this condition & they were all within ounces of each other @ 10lbs ,8-10oz.

Here you go mrage. Went on a walk about this morning to retrieve a pocket knife that fell out of my pocket while squirrel hunting with my oldest son 3 evenings ago. Seen several squirrels took a couple of off hand shots but didn’t connect which was fine. On the way back to the house I noticed this fellow peaking from the base of a soft maple tree. Well he he became lunch, organs and upper back. Similar to beaver in taste/ beaf like in flavor. Found the knife at the first place I Set down.
