Someone Needs To Bring Back Classics

[PasadenaMike]

Someone with lots of $$ and love for Airguns should start a manufacturing business re making classics that manufacturers decided we don’t need anymore. Guns like wood Benjamin multi pumps, girardonis……feel free to add to the list. Only requirement is they have to be US made

[pan60]

I though about make some pump guns but I am not convinced folks would spend the needed money to make them.
I don't think you can compete with cheap imports
have been beat up by imports on a number of products I am very gun shy to say the least,

Someone did already, it was called the Millennium Pumper. Lol Some of us might remember how all that turned out.

It would be one of those "labor of love" endeavors. Have a lot of people investing not expecting a financial return so there's no debt, doing at the very least orders on their off-time, and willing to learn how to make airguns without being paid more than minimum wage....
And people mostly buying Dragonfly Mk.2s because they're cheaper.

Please tell us more of this disaster!

Go search on GTA, it’s pretty much all there.

Geeze Louise, I was always just hoping that the Benjamin Marauder would have been upgraded to modern standards, and they never even did that!

I never heard of that one. Well. Only really re starting into airguns in the last couple of years though, makes sense I would miss it. Any other info on it?

American OR british made!! Lol your describing Air Arms brotha...their idea of a new gun is to just sell the same action but in a different stock I bought a TX and S510 last year brand new. Being that old they both are still super relevant, plenty powerful, sell well, and 10/10 for looks/simplicity.

Snickers & jeers welcome.
I'd like to see a revival of the Benjamin Discovery.
With a few upgrades
Lothar Walther barrel, threaded at the muzzle, a tube that can handle at least 225B, and a Huma to deliver the psi you want
Plus. all that spring adjusting, porting & valve stuff we used to do when modding them
And as the original, weighing in at under 6lbs.

Personally, I would be happy if they remade the Benjamin Sheridan again. Same style stock. No oversized hump so you can't see the sights. And add a scope mount! Is that asking to much?

No that is exactly what I’m asking for. Maybe with a dovetail mount

That would make me one happy camper. I could retire my original, scope the new one, and use it for popping birds and close in tree rats.

I'm afraid your right Mike.

If they brought it back, Hateful himself might even go with one of those.

I’m so sick of high priced garbage that I’m just longing for a new but high quality Benjamin just to pest with without the recoil of a springer. I never had lemons with springers, gas rams, multi pumps, ssp….
