Others SLUG Video Challenge + $100 prizes

Will it be ok if i walk to the target and leave my cell phone on a tripod and shoot then measure groups? I tried a vid with my sony camera but it guess it wont record long enough to do the whole thing. Or i don’t have it set right I don’t do many vids

Roger got you beat 😁
You do look like you beat Roger, except for that last group. Let's see if he comes back with the Epic

Rules:
1:
Distance 100yd

2: Shoot back to back 5 shot groups on three separate targets (15 shots total, 5 shots on each of three targets).

3: Use VIDEO PROOF. You can use your phone or any video camera. You need to have yourself in frame shooting with the target in the foreground. After you have shot the three targets for a total of 15 shots, take the phone down there and show the targets and size of the groups. This video should be unedited and continuous from first shot to group measuring.

4: Post video to THIS THREAD (upload to YouTube, Rumble or any other video upload)
_______________________________________________
Who wins? The person with the smallest groups.

What do you win? I'll be sending out some ammo, targets, beef jerky and some other goodies from Atlas Airguns LLC. The prize will be worth $100.

ENDS: March 15

Targets size and shape so not matter, because this challenge is not about hitting the bullseye but showing your aggregate group sizes. However, @Soren Drost has been kind enough to this target.View attachment 10931

Photo submissions will not count.
Friendly suggestion: add a hashtag # that can be added by entrants to the videos to make it easier to find all of the entries on YouTube. I personally don’t use them much, but in this case I would. After a few clicks on the links in the thread the videos quit playing for me and I had to try and find them via search. Just an idea

First attempt. I wasn't going to upload it at first. The shooting and the videography is pretty awful. Then I decided that it might encourage someone else that feels reluctant to enter, to give it a shot. I've only just got back into shooting and I'm new to the world of airgun slugs and PCPs. Not that it is a competitive entry, but my math abilities would invalidate the entry. It was fun and I will submit a better prepared (hopefully) entry. I only had one type of slug to try. Barra 250z that is box stock, set at 2000 psi providing approx. 860 fps. Discover ED 5-25x scope. It was perched on a Lead Sled. H&N 30 gr slug. The slugs seemed too tight to me. You can see it took some effort to seat the slugs. Hopefully a few more backyard shooters will enter.

Great my friend. Well done

Hello Guys
After my 50 Meter WRABF practice today I had some Slugs left so I decided to do the challenge and also took the time to shoot the N50 in the rings at 100 which is a 5 shot group at 5 N50 rings at 100.
You can take the 3 first since the 3rd was the worst of the groups and the challenge is supossed to be 3 groups of 5 shots.
I had a good time shooting the challenge and I hope I can do it again next week.
Here is the video.
