Alpha/Delta Wolf Slow leak

I have a new Delta Wolf and it has a slow leak. Approx 30 bar per day it looks like. Any suggestions on where to start looking?

I usually start by putting a balloon over the barrel to see if it’s the valve. Also check the common points like fill port, gauge, and regulator with soapy water. With the reg check the vent hole which I believe is right by the pressure gauge and around the reg housing where it screws into the gun itself. I had one with an even much slower leak that ended up being the oring in the bottle valve. I narrowed that one down by taking the bottle off the gun and leaving it sit. The gun itself held air fine. Changed the oring down in the bottle valve and all was fine.

You could kill multiple birds at a time by putting the balloon over the barrel and then taking the bottle off. If the gun empties then you know it’s within the gun. If the balloon inflates it’s in the valve. You can check fill port and reg before you leave it sit. That pretty much covers I think everywhere it could leak.

Thanks for the reply. I took the bottle off this morning and the rifle dropped about 30 bar in 3.5-4 hours, so I'm guessing it's the gun. Not too happy with a brand new toy.

Fill nipples are a common leak point on PCPs. The o-ring on the check valve is a common leak point. You can fill the nipple with pure silicone and check for bubbles.

Thanks for the replys gentlemen. It brand new and under warranty so I'm not too concerned, but shipping is usually a week each way so I will try to figure this one out first.

Please report back what you find. Always curious for future reference as I have 2 daystate pups. The other 3 areas should cover it. Fill port, reg, or valve. It def sucks when a brand new gun leaks for sure. Hope it goes smooth. Good thing is that all those areas a pretty easy to get too even the valve.

Sorry Man, that's a bummer, it's happened to me twice this year. With the JTS Stonewolf and the Used Benjamin Marader from AoA, the extra shipping cost negates any savings I thought I was getting, and as you mentioned waiting another week just blows.

Ahha!! This stuff. Use it but use a rag with Ballistol to wipe it off. I don’t use soapy water it dries seals.
