Please stop producing garbage!!

Here's one I seem to see maybe I'm wrong but ....

You see a full price gun and guys post they like it and little to no issues

Then some place put it on a nice sale .

So guys buy them up cause of the full price posts on good ..

But then the guy who got the big sale gun got issues with it .

So I got to thinking or wondering are the manufacturer getting rid of not quite so good gun under a sale ? Like this batch of guns may tend to leak , or barrel not 100% true , kinda not a first quality but just not a full 2ed ... so I kinda get leary on big sales stuff anymore.. lol
I’ve experienced this

The origin is one that I’d get and I bet I won’t be disappointed. I know someone who has one and of course our good friend Dana likes them. Nobody complains about them. I won’t get one because I don’t have room but it looks promising.
I have an Origin I got right after they came out. Good gun right out of the box. Mine is completely stock. Accurate and works perfectly every time. The pump that came with it was another story.

I said the same thing, about never buying an expensive multi-thousand dollar airgun, and eventually, people like A here, wore me down, and I did. If you really love this stuff, it will eventually happen, you'll find a way, or a justification, that fits or works for you. It does take some time to come around to it, but it happens to a lot of us. Good luck!
I started buying Weihrauch break barrels. Pricey but the quality and shootability are amazing. Worth every penny.

Gulp speaking of producing garbage.....have you guys checked out the British shooting show 2024? Air Arms a company we all know who makes quality (and expensive) guns seems to be changing things up for the worse. New logo is one thing but they appear to have partnered with an airgun manufacturer in India, some of "their" new guns im not impressed with one bit. If quality stays good and price goes up I'm in. Quality goes down and prices goes down? I'm out. Here's hoping they keep making their actual AA guns themselves with quality at the fore front!!

I will be calling pyramid air to find out if the S510 is coming from India if it is, I will be getting a Daystate revere. I do not want to have the “we think we have it right just working out a few bugs rifle” from a new manufacturing facility in another country.

Ah no man the S510 is 100% british AA...lol minus its German barrel and Italian stock. She's the real deal don't worry. AA is carrying and selling these other (hideous) guns and openly admit their not made by Air Arms. The are officially replacing the S200 as well with some atrocious looking piece. Sad day.

Thanks Danman, I was starting to lose my $hi+. 😅
I’m okay now😳 lol.

I'm here for you brother 😂. My stomach kinda sunk that's for sure. Last year they came out with a 5k target rifle (not of interest to me, and about twice the price I would/could pay but wicked cool) and this year they whip this junk stuff out?!

Tha AA Indian stuff would depend on how much QC AA is willing to pay for. Are they going to be equal to a TX200? No, but they might be as good as, or better than a rebranded Hatsan or Snowpeak.
And if so, AA will sell a bunch of them.
Yeah they may be decent quality still, just marketed to lower income or people just getting into shooting, etc. And you know how that goes, you buy one, it breaks, AA doesn't make the gun, has no parts for it, they try to get them, u wait unable to shoot it.....Not at all trying to sound snobbish but certain brands are high end and need to stay that way. If I want a $500 pcp I'd get the crosman or something similar made semi local that I could get parts for. BRK, AAA, DAYSTATE, AA etc are all high end brands that ooze quality. Yip their mega expensive but the quality of the build is their, easy to repair or get repaired. If they keep the 2 lines separate that would be best and don't blur that line....It's all I ask of them!
