My new Pinky Striker .25 arrived a few minutes ago! Gotta go drool and paw all over it! The weather absolutely sucks here today, cold, extremely windy, and fixing to rain. No shooting for a while.
Same hear weather wise. Just received my FX Dreamline Tactical 25 and got it ready. Cleaned the barrel and mounted the scope and bipod. Tightened everything up and mounted my Yokozuna can and on the next non rain day I'm going to test it out!

Ok, little better this morning, but 24* outside, and more rain?? Coming, least, hope it's rain. Did get some pics of the new Bullpup, with barrel and air tube measure compared to my first Pup. First 2 pics, measure of barrel, then air tube.

Overview
Received the Pinty Buster .177 a few days ago.
All my pistols are in .177 since I am a target shooter.
It is accurate up to the 18 yards I tried with a dot sight.
If I had a better sight it would have been even more accurate.
I can say I really like it for the $230-$250 I paid for it.

Build
Build quality is really good, at least as good as the PP700 or PP750.
One thing the build I do not like too much is the synthetic (TPU ?) grip, but I can change that easily.
Magazines are good, but I need to gently push the pellets in (use a toothpick) since they don't just drop in.

It feels hefty, around 2.5 lbs, but is manageable with 2 hands.
It is heavier than the PP700/PP750 and slighly longer.

Trigger
The trigger may need more work.
After using only the 2 adjustment screws, I got it to under 3lb.
It is single stage and has almost no travel length , you pull, trigger barely moves and then it shoots.
The safety has a screw that needed to be tightened on mine.

Hammer spring
The hammer spring has about 3-3.5 turns from flush to max in.
The grip will stop it from going out of the receiver.

Stock hammer spring dimensions: OD: 8.5mm, Wire diameter: 1.25-1.3mm, Length: 43.7mm.

The stock hammer spring is way too strong.
With the stock spring I got a max of 850-860 FPS with Crosman Field Point 7.4 grains for all the hammer spring positions.

I replaced the hammer spring with a different one I made.
The new hammer spring was cut from a spring with a 8mm OD, 1.2mm wire.
WARNING: A spring with 9mm OD did not fit in the hammer hole.
I actually cut 2 of those springs, both shorter than the stock one.
One of the new hammer springs gives me a range of 420-720 FPS with the 7.4 grain pellets.
The other one 540-800 FPS with same pellets.

Shot string
With the stock spring I got about 850-860 FPS consitently for 20-30 shots (did not shoot much at this power).

With the lowest powered spring, I get 415-430 FPS cosistently for 120+ shots (got bored and stopped counting).
Perfect for target shooting up to 10 yards.

Noise
It comes with a 1/2-20 threaded barrel.
With the moderators I 3D print it become very quiet.

Some companies give you a permanently glued poorly performing moderator.
I am not buying the AIr Venturi Alpha because of that.

Conclusion
This and the PP700/PP750 are the best budget PCP pistols around.
Unfortunately the PP700/PP750 are not sold in the US.

The 250 bar fill pressure and larger air tank gives you way more shots than the PP700/PP750.
Lower price than what I paid for the PP700/PP750 5 years ago, including the thread adapter.

Welcome to the forum!

Have you gotten to shoot your Striker yet?
I finally did get to do a little shooting with it, and even ran a mag over my chrony the other day. Using Dead centers, 25 grain pellets. Striker was pretty cold from being in the back spare room, and it was mid 40's outside. Went 864.3, 854, 859.1, 858.5,869.0, 869.0, 868.0, 870.6. Then, the rains came, again.

Weather ruining a perfect shooting day! Nice numbers brother.

The regulator seems to be settling in good. But, after maybe 30ish shots, accuracy is falling off unless I give it a good cleaning. Then, its fine again. I don't have one of the little inspection cameras, yet.... Ordered one today. Anyway, I messaged Pinty last week, and asked what was up with that. During the night, I received a reply. Pinty said,"you have a bad barrel, we are sending you a new replacement rifle". It was picked up by Fed ex on the 24th, and set to arrive tomorrow.
Using my bore lite, I don't see anything, and after running patches through it, there is no lint or anything snagged on any rough spots. Bad or to sift pellets maybe?
