More New Umarex Airguns From The 2026 SHOT Show

Now we have details of more new Umarex airguns from the 2026 SHOT Show. The company definitely needs to be congratulated. They launched more new products than the rest of the industry put together!

More New Umarex Airguns – Replica BB Gun

OK, so here’s one that everyone has been waiting for!

Although it’s been some time since Umarex launched a new Legends replica, the company has come-in with a great new introduction.

The CO2-powered, BB-firing Legends Thompson M1A1 has long been a desirable reproduction for many US collectors and shooters. It earned a HAM Gold Award when we reviewed in back in 2020.

The new version comes complete with a 450-round drum magazine. This is combined with the semi- and full-auto action and high degree of realism found in the existing “stick mag” model. This just has to take the “fun gun crown” for many here in the USA. Expect a big rush to buy these…

Next up is the Umarex Ridgetrek. This lever action long gun holds 120 BBs and is powered by two, 12 Gram CO2 cartridges. Muzzle Velocity is listed as 650 FPS and the Ridgetrek is 40 Inches long overall.

The stock has an adjustable pull length and it’s fitted with open sights.

Then there’s the new Umarex Stormfire. This has a full-auto action with a cyclic rate of 2,020 rounds per minute at 430 FPS – according to company specifications. This is combined with the wood-effect stock that we can see in the photograph below.

BBs are fed using a 25-round internal magazine, backed-up by a 400-BB reservoir. The two 12 Gram CO2 cartridges are located in the buttstock – as is common nowadays.

More New Umarex Airguns – Breakbarrel

Despite having introduced so many new PCP airguns at the show, Umarex showed that they have not completely forgotten the breakbarrel!

The black pellet gun in our photograph above is the Umarex Arrax Magnum. This monster is to be available in .22 caliber with a specification that calls for 1,100 FPS and a peak Muzzle Energy of 32 Ft/Lbs.

Cocking effort is listed at 45 Lbs, the overall length is above 49 Inches and the weight over 8 Lbs. Holy cow!

There’s a gas ram powerplant plus 10-shot rotary magazine. A 3-9×40 scope is included with the gun. It’s a big brother to the Umarex Arrax that was introduced in the latter part of 2024.

More New Umarex Airguns – CO2 Pistol

The Umarex Verada is a new, single-action, competition-style air pistol. This is a .177-caliber, pellet-shooter, of course.

Powered by a single 12 Gram CO2 cartridge, it has a 9-round rotary magazine and adjustable open sights. And yes, that’s a Picatinny rail on top for those of us – like me – who cannot aim with open sights, to mount a red dot sight, or even small, long-eye relief scope.

The bolt action is located on the left side of the gun.

The Verada looks to be a development of the Umarex Avera pistol that HAM (almost) loved so much. It is specified to reach 490 FPS. With a decent trigger, this could be a cracking bargain target pistol!

Phew…

Tommy guns are so iconic, they always make me smile, lol.

I have not really been following springers very much lately, but if they can get a .22 to do 32fpe with only 45lb of cocking effort, that seems pretty good to me. I will be following the reviews on this one.

Umarex has been very busy.

The best in the business couldn't do that 20 years ago at the pinnacle of break barrel airguns. If they still made the Theoben Eliminator they would probably sell for around 2K.

I seriosly looked at the Theoben Eliminator but it was expensive even in the 80's and I wouldn't spend the money then. But still, comparing an Umarex now, to a premium product of any time period, isn't exactly square. My FWB124D makes 12fpe at 18lbs of cocking effort, which is still one of the better ratios going for a breakbarrel, so for that Umarex to get 32fpe for 45lbs effort, from a cheap gun, looks good to me. At least they seem to be trying to please their customers.

Maybe it will surprise me and be a smooth and accurate shooter. I'll be on the lookout for reviews.
