Right? Nervous over a non-life threatening situation 🤣🤣🤣🤣

It was a fun weekend for sure.

Cole you get 1st place for the best looking pistol out there….That darn thing is gorgeous!!

A pretty darn good day….46 out of 48….I ranged a longer target wrong which cost me the 2 misses. Nissan took 3 sight in shots, to confirm zero hadn’t moved since shooting it few months ago. Great little “pistol”. That’s for you Leon 🤭🤭🤭🤭

Great “big” pistol is more like it…🙈 Excepting in them large mitts you call hands…🤓 Kudos to you on your fine shooting…🙏 Added a second pistol grip to mine.😈

Well the Sonoran Classic is this weekend and I pulled out Nissan. A quick cleaning of the barrel, verify all screws are tight and a few sight in shots, it is good to go. We shall see how we fair Friday at the pistol match. My standing can use a lot of work

Today is the day and it is suppose to be windy.....Temps in the mid 80's. Troyer is 35.89 before the wind factors in. Barbara and I will be getting to the range today at around 1000 to help with sign in, set up sight in range. I should have a few minutes to sight in before the match.

Not good at all. Top score was a 31, 2 25’s and I had a 23….the rest of the pack fell in behind…. Rumblings one of the 25 shooters shot four targets out of order, but I guess integrity isn’t in their strong suit. So we missed the podium, but there is a match next week we will be at.

Well it wasn’t an easy shoot off, but Nissan and I were able to pull it off. I shot first and got down both my targets, then Tim did the same. We got pushed back and I knocked both of mine down. Tim got his first down and missed his second…wind was bad and on my last target I was holding outside of the KZ.

What a great match!

Congratulations to Tony. I shot the same course on Friday and it was tough, some of the offhand shots were tough with a rifle on Saturday and Sunday. 20% of the targets 8/40 were off hand. I was a 22/40 shooter and I shoot a Brocock Atomic XR and I shot QYS 9.56 grain pellets. Maybe not the best in the wind, but lasers indoor. I love the Brocock as a carbine as I have grand kids that love to shoot it and it adjusts to them all. I just unscrew the stock and it's a pistol, forget the pistol power adjuster.

My only bark against the Atomic is the trigger and I have worked on mine and it is now better than factory, but it still probably cost me two or three shots this weekend pulling off target. If some one knows how to get it below 1 lb 2 oz let me know. Now as the gkids shoot it as a carbine, the trigger is perfect, but for FT pistol, not so much. After the shoot off I had the chance to try the RAW T?1000 Pistol trigger and it was amazing!!

All in all the Sonoran Desert Grand Prix was a great match and challenging.

I agree with you on the trigger...I haven't researched it much, but after this coming up weekend in Temecula, I might have to get it apart and see is there is anything to do to make it better.

Nissan and I were in a tie again, but this time for 2nd- 3rd place. Wayne and I had 3 shoot offs at different distances and we both knocked everything down. It got too late in the night (Couldn’t see the KZ's) and we called it.

We flipped a coin and I lost. When we got back up to the staging location the Match Director said no coin flip allowed. So the next day Wayne and I, after the first day of rifle, pulled our pistols back out and went at it again.

This time I hit both targets and Wayne missed his first. So Nissan gets the silver!!!!!!

Top pistol score was a 36 out of 40 and Wayne and I had 33's. It was a very hard course with all the wind we dealt with in Temecula.
