Yeah, I love my stock Ghost. But i just don't see enough added value to drop almost double the price for this, even if it shoots slugs. I would rather go the route I am on of buying a Sub-Moa slug barrel for my current Ghost or adding a Sonoran to my collection...

you dont even get the tensioned barrel on the sub 12 and its still so much more.

Yeah, I have been eyeballing them unfortunately I just jumped into PCP's this January with a Ghost, compressor, etc. I don't tend to spend much typically, but when I do... I make up for the times I don't!

Thankfully, my wife’s been incredible. She's genuinely supportive of the hobby, especially since it's been a major help in pulling me out of some heavy workplace burnout. Still, I have a sneaking suspicion that if I stroll in grinning with another couple grand sunk into a shiny new “toy,” she might lovingly start looking into psychiatric evaluations—just to be safe!

No offence to anyone in real-estate, but it reminds me of talking with one of my wife's brothers in law who is a relator. He took us to look at a piece of land that he was trying to sell. It had a house pad cut into the side of a super steep hill with just enough room to pull in and then back out. There were both a road and power line easements running through the property in perpendicular directions, etc. and he was just sure it was worth a fortune "because of the views"

The problem with it in my country is it won't fly with that silencer on it! So I can get it but full power and LOUD. The original Ghost with the factory shroud is plenty quiet and just a little *pop* on minimum setting....as it sends a 20gr pellet 965fps
My S510 sounds similar to a pneumatic nail gun or a .22lr shooting 1080fps rounds, def louder. This tensioned barrel set up looses the shroud, hence the silencer I imagine?

Yeah, I was surprised with how quiet my Ghost is without the silencer which I suspect is due to the shroud being a quasi silencer as it allows the air stripper to pull away a lot of the air and send it back through the shroud and out the holes at the end closest to the block.

There doesn't look to be a lot of room, but I wonder if a guy could make a shroud/air stripper similar to the Ghost for the Sonoran.

I love Brk rifles but I also don't like adding anodizing to a rifle and calling it "limited" or "revolutionary" or whatever, and raising the price a bunch. $3.5k is just too much for me. Seems like Daystate/Brk are trying to push the envelope on pricing and I don't think it's a good plan...who knows...we'll see how it pans out. This is a hobby, and I can buy a lot of airguns that will do everything the BW and Blue Ghost will do for many hundreds of dollars less.
