I am truly on the fence about this and don’t know what to do, anyone and everyone your advice or help would be appreciated.

Of course, I realize that I had this choice the entire time it was the email that has basically sent me to this state of mind.

If I were to choose an alternative, it would have to be a wood stock regulated PCP I would prefer a larger rifle as I am a big guy.

It would have to be in the same price range plus or minus a couple hundred bucks.

I prefer new not used.

Check out the Weihrauch HW100 at AoA. It is in the same price range of the AA. I have always wanted Air Arms 510 but never got one. I do have a Weihrauch HW100 in .177 and it is excellent rifle.

If you're after beautiful deep bluing and walnut stocks than your choices are somewhat limited. AA does seem to be the only company that pays a lot of attention to that, especially the bluing. Otherwise, yeah, there are a lot more capable options for less money.

Some reasons I was wanting the S510 are that it has an adjustable external regulator for when I’m pesting or hunting.
I need something that is safe at 10 yards but can be powerful enough for 50. I don’t want to fumble around with hex keys like I do with the origin.

I don’t want a big tank because I only hand pump.

I want something that is heirloom quality that I could pass down.

I have no doubt that in future that my needs may change but for this particular purchase, that’s where I’m at.

It sounds like you want that S510, PasadenaMike has shown you the way, get on the phone with UA and talk to someone and ask them to open some boxes for you and check for a nice stock. It's worth asking, talking to a person, don't do it online.

I was gonna say FL22 drop the walnut stock and go with the cheaper ambidextrous poplar wood. Absolutely love it...a bit light for off hand shooting but otherwise perfect! poplar AA beside walnut AA. Also.....YOU WONT NEED TO FINISH THE POPLAR!!

It’s out of stock at PA also (.22), maybe they have it at Utah Airguns but I really want the walnut.

Not a similar platform, but I love my Concept Lite XR because of the adjustable transfer port. 16 gr on high at 880 fps and low setting 514 fps. 20 moa drop at 20 yards. No messing with a regulator. Great LW barrel.

I see your reasoning, the poplar is light and will dent if you look at it the wrong way The flexibility of the S510s power, accuracy, 10 rounds, gentle on air, ZERO recoil, great looks, makes it a never getting sold air rifle for me. And yes it is a big gun! Here it is with some others. Ignore the 9mm Personally I'd wait out 1 more week? Ask for a discount?
