Hi have 2 ghosts and am as happy as a pig in p##. Have a177 hp set up for ft and a 25 set up for bench and hp ft. The 177 is actually not extremely tunable for ft as my only real way to adjust velocity with 13 gr jsb is with air even when using the 12 fpe hammer spring but boy o boy does it shoot 13 grainers well!!
The 25 does really well to missed only 3 out of 40 at my first hp ft match and yesterday shot a 216 and 217 out of 250 @ 100 yds so both guns really shoot!!

Thats Great to hear Solo! I am trying to decide on the Ghost now for Benchrest. Very glad to hear it is doing good for you. Did you have any problems with it at all? Any modifications to get to shoot good for you? What 25s are you using in it? E

no problems whatsoever so far. On my 177 i did pull the barrel to clean and on reinstalling nicked the last o ring on the outside of barrel a diamond file and a bit of silicon grease cured that. I did find on the 25 that my choke was pretty tight and have taken some jb bore paste to the choke area but otherwise just sending 33.9 jsb or 34 fx down the pipe and i really think the only problem is me! Lol

Thats awesome! I am being pushed by friends to get the impact but I cand get past the almost 400 parts and 47 O rings in it. Other options are the Alpha Wolf ($PRICY$), Red Wolf, RTI Priest, Scout Epoch, HM1000. I am sure there are more I haven't looked at but the ones at the top are the Ghost, Impact and the Alpha. I also would like to use my purchase for speed shooting but that is a secondary option. Your opinion?

Well it depends. I have a m3 also and i think they are a great gun. I think alot of problems with them come from poor gunsmithing, pushing too much for power and just general lack of knowledge on operating them. I learned a great deal from 2 mavericks before i got the m3. With that knowledge i was able to set up the m3 quickly and easily to shoot 27.5 nsa 22 cal and 34 gr nsa 25 cal both 600 mm and pellets too. The only changes were grip, butt pad and air marksman top rail. That really keeps things aligned. The ghost on the other hand is pretty much take out of box clean barrel and shoot then perhaps make a few minor adjustments for velocity with your projectile. The only other is i think the m3 has an edge with slugs but im not positive just yet as im concentrating on pellets with the ghosts till hunting season when ill be experimenting more. If they don’t like slugs i still have the m3. Hope this helps. Oh me personally i have a red wolf 177 that shoots very well but if there is a problem i have to send it back to aoa ( last gun i sent to them cost $125.00 to ups) I’m not a fan of electronics on a gun and as you stated the ghost couldn’t be simpler to work on if you ever have to. Ghost vs alpha. Price and electronics for easier tuning? Otherwise same gun. The only thing i would like to see changed on the ghost is for the power wheel cover a larger spread of fps like the m3 and not need quite so much air to get velocities slightly above 900 fps for higher shot count and i think it would be perfect

I have a hp fac and am shooting 13.4 jsb pellets in hunter field target. It plain works! My misses today were wind for the most part or me
