Omega Keep or toss compressor boxes?

So I have an Air Charger and a Trail Charger. I’ve been told by Todd at Omega to keep the boxes just in case I have to ship the compressors in for service. Reality is if my Air Charger or Trail Charger goes out (something catastrophic) I’ll be tossing it most likely and not shipping it. Might be cheaper to just buy a GXcs4i. Thoughts ?

Plus when you’re selling lots of stuff it’s nice to have the original box to pack it in.

Yeah very true. When the box gets thrown out either I decide to sell it and I no longer have a box or something happens where i need to ship it. It’s to keep Murphy who lives under the lemon tree at bay.

Keep the boxes I think, at least that's what I do. One whole corner of my garage is PCP compressor boxes and air rifle boxes. My wife wants to tear them all down and trash them as she's tired of the space they take up!

I keep mine. Even if it breaks and you don’t want to deal with it, someone will buy it.

I keep lots of boxes too. Then later on when it gets a little crazy, because they are taking up too much space, I stick targets to them and shoot them to pieces before I put them in the trash.

Not compressor, but wanted to ship a rifle and caught he11 trying to find a correct sized box . Now I save 2 on the ready . Like the pa brown shipping box the retail box was slid in to .. I'd at least keep one that fits all .. as in you can fit a small item in a big box easier then a big item into a small box. . ( Old Chinese proverb )

i was in my attic the otherday as out heat and air unit went out and thats where the air handler is, well i bet theres 500 boxs from one thing or another.
so as for me i have always saved boxs but,,,,, i am getting ready to start tossing them. i have boxs up there that are 20 years old its insane.

no i use to do and really guess maybe still do reveiws for high end pro audio recording gear and guitars as well as having a studio and colletiong guitars for better then 40 years i acumulated stuff.

LOL yep

one thing i use to do was fold them down but thats not allways possible with some of the internals.
i like to see thing double boxed and just useing penuts but anymore they have the form fitting styrofoam

I shouldn't have responded with a "wow".....just checked my closet and found the box that my Beeman C1 came in....dated Feb '83....guess I'm a hoarder!!

Not only air rifles, but with my motorcycle parts as well.
