Don’t let it stop you from getting one . Worst case scenario you’ll just sell it. I never said they’re bad guns except the 9. Buy from UA or AOA at least you get excellent customer service. Don’t get the 9 you’ll be fine. This is my personal experience most people will be fine

I noticed AoA has choice box .. standard factory or extended warranty ($$$)

With that I wondered if there done after the standard sales rma period on any satisfaction? That choice thing looks to be a pass the buck to factory/ end gun (??)

As a 50 year lifer salesman we use to say; it costs a lot of money and work to gain a customer. But once on board for awhile you have to abuse most of them to leave you. Customer retention is one of the top 5 corporate performance metrics. That alone explains why it costs so much for organizations to gain a new customer in the first place. AOA is the best supplier in the industry of the product lines they sell in my eyes.

I've learned over the years of reading through the forums and my own experiences to not give airgun manufacturers glowing and gleeful praise. I may reply with a "like" on a certain post but I'm careful these days to post a thread with glowing reviews of a particular brand or model. In this hobby, and most other hobbies, you have to take everything into account. Warranty, customer service, parts availability, and after-the-sale support. Also, buying from a reputable dealer like AoA who works on the guns they sell is a plus. I guess to sum it all up, there's never a problem until you have one.

what is wrong with the Leshiy 2 in 9? It has a bigger bore barrel, .357 magazines, and a larger plenum. What am I missing here?

None cycle correctly. My sources from UA confirmed they shipped all the 9s back because they wouldn’t cycle. Confirming my suspicions of a $3300 pile of rip off. I suspect clearance issues. Other calibers don’t seem to be effected

Wonder what the issue could be. Tuning issue perhaps? Wrong valve jets for the weight of the heavier gr rounds? Shiiiiet.

Good luck. Try it maybe it’s fine. Is it a SUB MOA? Run some pellets before the return period you’ll know within a few mags

yes. they are only using submoa's now, no longer offering the alfa's. I was going to purchase a .30 cal Alfa barrel to swap out to .30 since I have mags for the .30 and ammo, but now they only offer submoa barrels for alot more $. Not happy about that.

For sure. Going to do that this weekend, rain or shine. If this sh*t doesn't cycle, I will raise hell with EdgunWest, especially if this is a known issue without any purported solution.

I feel your pain with this Mike. I cut ties with Brian and EGW a long time ago. He’s condescending attitude, and “blame it on the user” mentality is frustrating. It does not however stop me from owning edguns. I have my L2, and I still have fun with it. Do I wish I had a classic instead? Sometimes, but it doesn’t mean I’ll sell my L2 and replace it with a different brand. It still fits a niche I have yet to find in any other brand. The fact that it’s ultra compact, completely safe when folded, yet loaded and ready to go as soon as it’s unfolded. For my “truck gun” setup where I need a quick shot, and s gun to be ready in seconds, this is as fast as it gets. I’m lucky enough to have experience with the platform, and can pretty much fix anything wrong with them by myself, but I will NEVER buy a new product from Brian, and I will NEVER buy a new product from edgun in general. I’ll buy used from good members in the classifieds, and buy my own parts if they need fixing. It’s a shame you sold your “favorite” guns because of a store front and company that has zero interest in keeping repeat business unless you’re a big YouTube presence with 100k subscriptions.

If I had time to diagnose issues in the future when they rise I would’ve kept it. I’m thinking far ahead. I can figure out the classic in seconds. I have fixed couple issues because it was messed up brand new when it arrived. I don’t ever want to have to deal with Edgun west to ask questions.

The L2 is scarily simple once you’ve had it apart a few times. Not classic simple, but very easily repaired by a mechanically inclined person. I will never deal with edgun west again.

As everyone is aware, I favor free, open and uncensored discussion in the HAM Community. But I think that enough has been said now about Edgun West in this thread.
