Huntsman Huntsman Revere for Hunter Field Target (my thoughts)

What a day!!!! Started to get hot near the end, but otherwise with the wind it was very nice shooting day.

There were 4 Huntsman's at the Crusty Critter shoot today, so a good showing. A few ghosts, a BlackWolf, an Air Ranger, Red Wolf, and others....Daystate and BRk were well represented for sure.

Well now for the bad news man did I suck!!!!!! Hammered the first 3 targets including 1 at 55 yards. 2nd shot at 55 yards I held in the same place for wind and something strange happened......Damn wind stopped A perfect hit right outside the KZ at 3 O'clock

I did have a few bad wind calls, but on the last lane I had a major, In my dear ole Dad's words a "Dumba-" moment. I had just loaded up the mag the lane before and who forgot to put it in on the first shot Yup Dumba- me

So once again the Boss Lady kicked my A$$...I had 42 out of 48 and she had 45.....She wasn't hitting the close targets so we will have to check her dope when we have a few at the house.

Top score was a 47 and a few 46's.....We had 14 Crusty Critters today so it was a very good turn out. Until the Huntsman leaves the cabinet again.....I will say shooting a PCP is much easier than good old Norma Jean

P.S. The only real smack talking was a few of us telling Stan" Stop just looking through the scope and pull the damn trigger" It's like watching a teenager with his first Playboy or something . He couldn't keep his out out of the scope.

So the mighty Huntsman was shot at Pyramid Cup, but not by me. A friend's HFT rig broke a few days before the match, so out came the Huntsman for him....After the 2 days he asked if he could buy it.....Silly man

Well it had been sitting in the the cabinet since getting back from Pyramid Cup, so I decided to grab it for the Crusty Critter shoot today. Armed with some "experimental 13 grain pellets" I verified my holdovers were the same ,as the Range Master I normally used, and proceeded to shoot 47 out of 48 targets

What I can say about my miss, It wasn't my first shot or my last , but a target at 50 yards 2 lanes before the end...."Missed it by that much" As the GREAT Maxwell Smart would say You young folks can look up Get Smart....
