Introductions Hello from TN

Welcome to the HAMlet, any non-pcp guns in your arsenal? But Akela is a nice start from what I've heard.
Yes, I have a wood stock Benjamin 392 pump with Williams rear sight. Unfortunately it is just a safe queen, bought it and a couple tins of Crossman Premier 22 cal pellets for some nasty squirrels and after they were depested, it stayed there with two pumps in it. It was nice and accurate, however, when the Akela showed up in moved to the JV squad. Just installed a Huma air regulator in the Akela and want to get it out for some testing. Lots of fun!

I have a 397, but she's no more safe queen than any of my others. Pumpers are my peace makers.

HELLO from TN!
Just joined and started my pcp hobby with a Benjamin 22 Akela about 2 years ago and have added a Huma regulator. Want to ad another FX or other brand soon.
Welcome to Ham, the Akela is a beautiful looking gun, lots of copycats out there.... FX you say, any model you looking at in particular? The Wildcat?

Huma Air for internal and Huben Power for external regulators. They are always the correct choice. You pay more for them but they just plain work and both are good on the support side of things.

Akela is a solid performer and a great choice right out of the box. FX come with a learning curve due to their many adjustments. Once tuned they are quite excellent but will work great at factory settings. Just better tuned to your preferred pellet.

I am a fan of the older, simpler, FX. The 3 brethren Bobcat, Boss and Royale. Just great shooters and can be occasionally found for sale. Not often because those that own them rarely give them up.
