Not a lot to show pictures of just yet. My new PCP equipment is in the works. Some just ordered today. Attached is a shot of my Beeman R1 bought in about 1986. Still shoots well but needs servicing and the scope has become difficult to adjust distance and focus. The rings are stiff to turn.

Nothing really wrong with it. Just has never been checked over or lubed. When new it would fire a pellet almost through a 3/4" thick piece of southern yellow pine plywood. The pellet would splinter the back side of the plywood. Will not do that today. The barrel is still more accurate than my ability to shoot offhand. The scope definitely needs work with the stiff focus and distance adjustments.Welcome to Ham, and congrats on the future Ghost, an absolute beast! I have one in .22

Wow, that's pretty impressive! They definitely settle in once broken in to a lower fps/fpe. My .177 TX200 shed almost 50fps, and maybe 1500-2000 pellets in. The Beeman R1 is about the equivalent to a HW 50 then? My Ghost will blow through 3/4 ply @ 80Y away! I set up a piece behind some cans for a "safe" backstop...almost every miss on a can went straight through the wood

Yes, the R1 is similar to the HW 50 in performance. I do not have the electronic means to measure fps, fpe and so on. So I can only guess.
My father hailed from London, Ontario many years ago. Age here is 77 and my father passed at 94 a few years back. His mother, my grandmother, used to take me to London to visit relatives when I was a little kid. The Spanish flu killed his father two weeks before he was born. A couple years after is when his mother packed him up and headed to the states.
