Welcome to the third part of our exclusive Hard Air Magazine interview with KalibrGun owner, Richard Janoušek.
Today, Richard talks about how his company supports US shooters. He also gives us some perspective on the future for KalibrGun. We also had fun while chatting, as you can see from our photograph above!

Stephen Archer: Richard, does KalibrGun design air rifles with a specific type or manufacturer of ammunition in mind?
Richard Janoušek: We co-operate with the best suppliers of barrels. In fact, Steve, over the years, our partnership with these suppliers has grown into a real friendship.
This trust and mutual understanding allows us to develop barrels according to KalibrGun’s own drawings. It takes into account the requirements that we place on the accuracy, reliability and efficiency of our rifles.
So, we are not limited to a specific type of ammunition but strive for versatility, providing our customers with the best results using proven high-quality slugs and diabolo pellets.
Stephen Archer: Do you think that slug shooting is the future for airguns?
Richard Janoušek: Absolutely! We see slug shooting becoming more and more popular, especially in the American market. That is why we work with the best barrel suppliers to ensure that our guns are versatile and provide excellent accuracy for both slugs and classic diabolos.
KalibrGun always keeps up with trends, but our goal is not just to follow trends, but to lead and offer shooters the best.

In fact – if I remember correctly – you used a KalibrGun Cricket 2 Tactical with great success as the test platform for a major study on slugs that you ran in Hard Air Magazine a couple of years ago. Thanks for that!
Stephen Archer: The Snipe is a very interesting gun. HAM reviewed recently, of course, and it was an easy Gold Award winner. Can you tell us something about how it was conceived and designed?
Richard Janoušek: Well Steve, I feel that the Snipe 2 is the most advanced rifle on the market today.
Its exceptional balance of power and accuracy allows for shooting at distances up to two kilometers – that’s over 2,000 Yards! With our built-in regulator, shooters can fine-tune the rifle’s settings to match different types of ammunition. This makes it incredibly versatile, yet simple to tune.

When purchasing the Snipe, you’re not just getting a rifle – you’re getting a modular system that allows for customization of key parameters such as barrel length, caliber, power level and shot count. This makes it a true universal tool, a marvel in today’s market.

Stephen Archer: How do USA customers receive warranty and post-warranty service on their guns?
Richard Janoušek: At KalibrGun, we pride ourselves on offering excellent after-sales service for all our products.
For warranty and post-warranty service in the United States, we have a primary distributor, Precision Airgun Distribution, which provides a full range of service.
For warranty service, we provide coverage for any manufacturing defects or malfunctions through a clear and simple process. Customers simply need to contact PAD, who will assess the issue and arrange for a repair or replacement if necessary.
For post-warranty service, we offer repair and maintenance services so that our customers can continue to enjoy the high performance and accuracy that KalibrGun is known for.
We understand the importance of customer satisfaction and are committed to providing fast and reliable service to all of our U.S. customers, supported by our strong network of partners across the country.

Stephen Archer: Where and how can USA customers buy spare parts for KalibrGun air rifles?
Richard Janoušek: In the USA, it’s best to call AoA. They are a prime example of our partners providing a full range of services for our shooter users.
Reliability is one of the main principles of KalibrGun. Our rifles can withstand the most severe operating conditions: extreme heat, dust, sand, dirt. They are created for those who do not just shoot, but demand absolute reliability in any environment!
For 20 years, we have not received a single complaint from shooters from Saudi Arabia, where the climate is one of the harshest. At the same time, the volume of deliveries to this region exceeds 50,000 rifles!

Stephen Archer: Richard, a final question. What do you see in the future for KalibrGun and its products?
Richard Janoušek: Steve, the future of KalibrGun will be a continuation of the innovative path we began 20 years ago.
As the KalibrGun owner, I see great potential for development in the field of high-quality air rifles and pistols. We intend to continue to improve our products You will see us implement new advanced technologies and focus on the needs of our customers, whether amateurs, enthusiasts or professionals.
We also strive to maintain and develop our image as a brand that is associated with reliability and quality, as well as a responsible approach to the use of airguns. In the future, we plan to expand the range, introduce new models and improve service.
Given the challenges of today, like the entire industry, we are actively exploring new trends. We will strive to always be one step ahead, offering our customers products that will not only meet their expectations, but also exceed them.
