Ghost Ghost Carbine vs Ghost Plus

Ghost owners, how you decided on the version you currently own? I'm looking at the Ghost Carbine and Plus. From what I can tell, the Ghost carbine is 3" shorter overall and weight a little less with a smaller bottle. Is there significant advantages going with the Ghost Carbine in portability over the Plus version given the small differences?

I don't own either, but would go for the Plus. Bigger cylinder definitely wins out. Longer barrel is good too. Depends on your needs.

I'd recommend a Plus over a carbine, for these two reasons.

The shroud on a carbine does nothing to reduce the report. The carbine REQUIRES a moderator, even at a modest 18-19fpe. So a Carbine is going to be as long as a Plus once you make it quiet, but without the bigger bottle on the Plus.

My .20 is an 18 inch barrel but the shroud is the same length as an HP's shroud. I don't use a moderator on it because it's quiet enough without one. Can't comment on whether or not a Plus length shroud can be used without a moderator cuz no person nal experience there.

I would opt for the plus and the longer shroud / bigger bottle. I ran into an issue putting a carbine barrel on my HP and needed to buy new moderator because of insufficient clearance between bottle & moderator.
