Ghost Ghost/Barbara wins National Champion in the 2024 AAFTA Field Target GP Series

[Pesty3782]

Well a congratulations goes out to my wife, Barbara, and her red BRK (Harley) for becoming the National Champion in the 2024 AAFTA Field Target GP Series.

To think she started really shooting Field Target a little over a year ago. She "stole" my Huntsman to try out HFT and after really liking it, she transitioned her red ghost into her HFT rifle.

Once we had the all dialed in we never touched it except to clean the barrel from time to time. It has traveled to Louisiana, Ohio, Boston, and even the Czech Republic without a scratch.

A huge thanks goes out to BRK and Athlon for making such great products that can stand up to the baggage commandos and UPS ....

Amazing! Only thing better than having a wife also into airguns is having one who constantly beats you at it!....or maybe not? Harley is rocking a Ghost plus barrel it seems? Congrats

She deserves every bit of this... A couple of years ago when she first started shooting, I saw her natural ability right away. She actually just wanted to spend time with Tony when Tony and I were practicing (when they still lived in San Diego).

I think she got the AAFTA Hunter PCP bug when two years ago she shot in the Sonoran Desert Classic and did well. A year after that, she shot the same competition again (this year) and won with the high overall score of all classes.

Unlike some of the AAFTA shooters, Barb isn't a "one trick pony". She's very good at benchrest, from 25M to 100Y and has done well in those disciplines. She also shoots the Extreme FT well and came in 2nd at the Oregon EFT GP this year.

But Barb, how many Ghosts do you really need...?

Centercut - As I always tell my wife "I need N+1 guns (tools, cars beers)".

Barbara can always store a few Ghosts at my house!

One Ghost for each discipline mentioned above….

Congratulations to Barbara…! @Pesty3782 you must be very proud. What a wonderful accomplishment on Barbara’s part. Super sweet that you both partake in the same sport. You are a lucky husband to have such a good shooting wife… Barbara “Ghosted” the competition…

Congratulations Barb ,
Hard work is paying off
You deserve it BIG TIME

Congratulations Barbara!!! Most deserved, I had the opportunity to meet Barbara and Tony at Pyramyd Air Cup what a nice couple and excellent shots and competitors. Well done!

[Centercut]

The Team has done great this year in Field Target. In addition to Barbara winning the AAFTA GP National Championship, Caleb Dickenson won the Extreme FT GP National Championship!
