Panthera Fx King stock options....... and others

Well as I haven't been shooting much with the King as of late........ both in-laws have passed in the matter of a few months, and some crazy times at work. I haven't been able to shoot as much as I would like. But when I got the rifle originally the rifle came with the standard soft touch stock, as well as a Saber Tactical Chassis. Now being as I was shooting NRL22 things I was planning on using the rifle for these games. But I was also looking at getting the rifle for hunting and some pesting fun. So that got me to looking on Utah Air, which is a HORRIBLE idea, I found them with a custom King with the BellyDump rail on the front. I really liked the look of the soft touch and the bellydump on the rifle. Would make for a fun hunting rifle, though not to good at NRL22.

Well I broke down and said to heck with it I am just going to order the BellyDump and see what happens. So that is exactly what I just did here today. So the BellyDump should be here by the end of the week.

Now I have added the MPA Chassis for my Hm1000x and I love that rifle. So that got me to thinking about how many others have swapped over their stocks for something else? The other thing that I may do ...... is paint the stock and see what happens.

I swapped my DRS Classic stock for the Buck Rail DRS modular chassis. Nothing wrong with the traditional rubber stock, but this rig now weighs a touch under 8 pounds with scope and rings!. If it were a bullpup and not a mile long, I'd be in hunting heaven!

Looks like the rail should be here Thursday. So hoping to get some time to get everything installed. Planning on hitting the range tomorrow to get the thermal zeroed and to blow off some steam

Just getting back from the range. Was able to get the Hydra 635R thermal sighted in and zeroed at 50 yards. It was fun smacking a 1 inch swinger at 100 yards with ease. I am honestly shocked at how easy it was to get the optics sighted in.

Tomorrow the Bellydump should show up, and will get that installed. Will be fun to see which one feels better for the rifle.

Sorry to read about the loss of in-laws. Now I have to google what a “belly dump” stock is. I’m contemplating making a bench to shoot off. Does a bench need any special features, other than being stable for a 100 yard range?
