Super easy to do. The wife has one of the prototypes on her 22 ghost. One down fall, if you take your barrel off for cleaning you have to loosen the 4 screws holding the two pieces together. I used an inch pound wrench so each screw was the same. After cleaning you will have a slightly different POI unless you get the screws exactly the same.

When you put it on it will change the POI. I can't remember how much at 50, but it was at least a few inches. It does stiffen the barrel up.

It did help with her 28 inch barrel....I just put the prototype on my 30 cal a few days ago, but need more time between storms to give an honest opinion.

I was just out today with the new scope(athlon ares 4.5-30x56) and unless the new mrds are better than the old and jts the 25 cal 34 gr win the shootout for me. The old mrds for me beat jts and show some real greatness with some really sucky fliers. When you turn a 5 shot 1/2” group into 21/4” cause of a couple more pellets it stinks!

excellent ....Thanks for making that decision easy for me. No harmonic balance crud for my 23in hp!! I want accuracy but not obsessed about it.

Called aoa. Almost when he told me. Thats worse than $116 for a mag! Just checked brk site 79.17 £ which is $100. Their makin $70 on a turn around of a what 5 oz part?

I got $170 off of brk site for barrel sleeve tensioner and converted it to US $. The barrel clamp device that allows you to keep the vented shroud is like 70ish pounds

Ya like i said 79 lbs which is $100. I could probably order it from europe myself for less than what aoa wants. Its only a small part shipping shouldn’t be that much

I didn’t take that part off but really all you need is a block of aluminum the right size drill a lole in the middle for barrel machint top to fit gun and bottom to clear reg drill 4 holesdown on sides saw barrel hole in half redrill top half holes and tap bottom half holes add 4 screws. Its not a big deal if you have a mill
