Favorite cleaning pull?

The best bore I have seen is a TJ's, LW still got the JB treatment. New gun = pull the barrel and polish, before anything. I can't believe all the reviewers that don't touch the bores and think that they are doing anybody a favor by doing so. Teach the lazies to clean their bores first, not shoot and complain about them.

The gun's show up, out of the box, protectected from corrosion, NOT ready to shoot!

I use the Napier pull thru kit, or the patch worm that I have used for decades. My Walther LP500 came with its own pull thru so I use that. My Anschutz custom .22 lr came with one too. Before the patch worm was a thing I made a pull thru from trimmer line for my .22 lr match pistols. Generally use as small a patch as I can get. Don't clean anything more than I have to, just a patch down the bore after a match will do.

Mine is the JL Crown Saver. Only tricky thing is if the loop gets sucked in the sheath. Usually a dental pick is enough to get it out. It also has a good handle that won’t beat up and cut into your hand.

I had two Patchworms break the same weekend on me. I was using the supplied patches and correct caliber. Both breaks were the part the holds the patch.
From day one when he gave me one of the first ones that he built. We would shoot till sun down after the prodo tiro range

My notos and all the Liberty/Aspen/freedom and flash I've taken the barrel out, brush and rod (my goodness the hatsan was ridiculously filthy) and have used the patchworm since. But that hasn't been a long time. My melonair barrel for my crosman 1322 was 50 plus runs of the brass brush before I removed all hard factory "bits or specs" with jb bore paste.
