If you were at EBR you may have seen this gun in its preliminary stage. Most likely heard the bark of 75 fpe in a tiny package. The newly designed moderator does a excellent work for adding only 3" to the OAL!

Any word on the new barrels being out for the rifles, or other brands @American Air Arms ? Have another rifle I want one of your barrels for and want to play with something over the winter.

Assuming that the back end of that mini looks the same as the others? Already getting my wife and credit card ready for when they drop

well I want to love it but I am not a fan of the new look boss.
I like the sleek look of the mentioned barrel, looks great with out the can but with it not so, with out something around the barrel that can on the end looks horrible to me just my opinion reminds me of the looks of a RAW and I will be honest I passed on the RAW because I could not get past the looks of the can off the end.
for those of us that hunt in areas where we need a moderator well we need it.
no offense just input maybe I am alone maybe not?

The Barrel looks like my mechanics 8" 1/2" drive extension. I hope it shoots better than it looks. I have one on pre order.

Would there be a way to keep the barrel a constant diameter and put some heavy fluting into the barrel to reduce weight?

There's more than one post confirming that AAA is mot doing away with tbe original tensioned barrel system. You'll still be able to get that as a hunting rig.

I'm going to have to agree with some of the others here regarding looks. IMO, the barrel needs either an aluminum or CF shroud/sleeve over it, whether it works in conjunction with the moderator or not. I know looks are not everything, but they're a significant decision factor for me when purchasing an airgun.

Agree as well, whether it's an AAA or 3rd party sleeve.
