Degas or leave charged ?

You can leave an airgun charged indefinitely. Theres really no reason to ever degas a gun unless you are going to work on it.

Always leave pressure.
No need to be at full pressure.
Enough to keep everything tight.

I filled mine up before storage, that is how I found that My XM1 Ranger had a leak. It was however replaced with a new one from Stoeger, only cost Me the one-way shipping.

Some say to keep enough to keep orings in place, even beneath regulator pressure if you have one; others say above regulator pressure to keep it doing something too. I say fill it to where you fill it when you're shooting it. It should hold just fine, and when you go to fill it next time you use it, you won't be going past a pressure you had it sitting at and find it has a problem doing that.

Yup, I use an easy round number for mine 3000Psi. May use a different number for the Condor SS.

My understanding is that leaving a PCP with pressure, keeps the seals tightly engaged and keeps dust out, which it turn, actually prevents leaks.

For newbies reading this: In my view, an airgun under pressure is actually loaded. Think of it as a muzzleloader with powder in the barrel. Anything that might fall into the barrel becomes a potential projectile. Store your pressurized guns accordingly.

Looks like the consensus is to leave it with pressure. So I'll leave it above reg at about 2500.
Right now it is about 1600
Reg is set at 2100, so I'll pump it up a bit

I agree, that leaves a quick fill to full when you want to use it again.

Take a picture of the gauge and compare when you get ready to fill. I caught a slow leak doing that.

PCPs should be left with pressure in them. It is better for the seals.

CO2 should be emptied after each use and not stored with CO2 in them.
