Sweet! Keep us posted. Still would prefer the all aluminum though.

As I expected, the composite material is a non issue. The rifle is so solid that you would swear it was a one piece stock. Even the skeletonized buttstock is rock solid. It appears that Daystate saved weight wherever possible without sacrificing rigidity.

Well I received my BlackWolf couple of day ago and have a couple of questions. Was your barrel really in need of a cleaning and what did you do? Will shoot after I get the barrel clean.
And I was hoping for a 6 ounce trigger but my Blackwolf holds at 8 ounces and fires at 8.5 oz.
Can I expect to reduce the trigger weight if I rotate the 1st stage trigger weight?

Yes the factory trigger is set to be user safe for everyone when bought new, you can lighten the trigger to your preference, in my field target blackwolf I have modified the trigger and got it down to around 2 2.5 ounces it’s perfect for my usage but would be way too light for hunting

Thanks Lee will work to lessen safely the trigger pull after I get the barrel clean.
I used to shoot BR and had a 2oz trigger.
My BlackWolf is for indoor use only on the bench. Thanks for your comments.
