Is anybody in the know what is going on at Crosman?

All the regular airgun supplies vendors and Walmart are out of stock of .22 Premier Hollow Points for quite some time now (showing overdue at their salespages), the only one who has them is Amazon, but they throw the tins literally loose in a big box, so you get the tins all dented up...

Is production halted? And if so: Is it because of Gamo's acquisition of Crosman? or because of the import tariffs? (I don't know if lead is sourced locally in the USA or not), or...

Inquiring minds want to know, so please enlighten us!

It seems that Crosman pellets are now being made in Spain. The disappearing is while they transition I believe. The new 177 pellets are definitely hitting the stores, and when that started so did panic buying of last US made in 177 and 22. I haven't seen the 22s yet, but expect they are coming. 177 CPHP is just rebranded Gamo Swarm 10x hollowpoints.

Hmmm, if that's the case I'm afraid no more tins for $8 a piece at Walmart...

So a regular 14 to 15 bucks and then with a 20% increase in price because of the import tariffs. Which means they will be right up there with the A brands (although they are all foreign as well, so they get a 20% increase too...)...

Say goodbye to a cheap well perfroming pellet then...:cry::cry:

I havent been able to get pellets around here for ten years or so in a .22 I thinks Wally World offers us only what think want to to have and then with the transition of crossman that dont help.
I just place a years supply order from my favorite vender in my case that Airguns of Arizona and I am dun til next year speaking of wich I do nee to get some ordered.

So far prices are the same, but I do expect tariffs to change that.

Unless all the supplies have been exhausted in the last couple days/weeks, it’s not due to tariffs. I’d sooner speculate that’s it has to do with the GAMO blending.

I’ll tell ya one of my biggest disappointments for me is knowing that the Benjamin single die pellets are done. I’m happy to have 2800 of them left for my Reximex RPA .177 that loves them. I’ve never shot other Crosman pellets. With a flooding of the market basically between JSB, H&N and there off brand pellets, JTS and AEA in the past year, maybe their sales dropped to the point that it isn’t lucrative to offer pellets any longer. Of course I’m only speculating.

I’m bummed to know the single dies are gone 😞😞

The Gamo team is working on making all the Crosman pellets. The good news is that they have all of the Crosman pellet dies. Many of our pellets are going to remain the same!

For the time being, we are still making the Benjamin Match Grade Pellets here in Bloomfield, NY.

John
They already changed the favorite CPHP to Gamo dies. But good to know they have the dies, even if they aren't using them. And glad that Benjamin single die will continue in NY. Do you know about the regular 177 Benjamin HPs? I love my tin of 750.

Maybe we’re talking about two different pellets. I’m talking about the Benjamin labeled green tins.

But I’ll just wait and see if the stock becomes available again. For now my .177 stock will last a good while.

The single die pellets in production are the Benjamin Match Grade pellets. They are single die and ship in the greenish/black tins with the Benjamin "B" on the tin top. Those are currently running on the pellet press. I was just shooting some of the 10.5gs last week.

Yes, the 7.9s CPHPs did change to the 7.6g Gamo design. I would have to assume the Benjmain HPs are going to be the same as the Gamo/New CPHPs. Not sure though.
