Last year I eagerly awaited the arrival of my 18 tins of Benjamin Single Die Pellets in 22 cal. My TX200 loves them (when it's working, that is), so I now have enough to get me through this year. Anyway, I noticed on another thread that Benjamin's were no longer mentioned as being made in the USA. Do any of you know if Benjamin/Crosman pellets are going to continue being made here in the US, or are they too going to be mere memories?

All of the Benjamin Pellet production has been moved to Spain. They are evaluating the feasibility of making the single die pellets to the Benjamin QA standards.

I have valued my "Benjamin Bullseyes " for a couple of years now. I have valued the. quality of these pellets as well as the fact that they've been made in the USA. Why do we let foreign companies buy up our valuable companies? What.has happened to all the Crosman/Benjamin employees? Does no one care about what happens to the well-trained employees? I do! America needs well trained workers in manufacturing. It's always cheaper to do things over-seas. . . until it's not! Orv.

I wish that we were able to keep just the die specific pellets in house.

If you look at it from the CEO perspective, why make pellets in two different places. Why not combine the equipment and have 1 pellet plant.

Crosman is still going strong in NY. We are still building our PCPs and some other products.

I understand the bean counter argument, consolidation to eliminate redundant overhead.

However there is something to be said for niche high quality (somewhat limited availability to increase demand) products and the profits that come with.
