My guess is that Crosman may yet stay in East Bloomfield. There's a sign outside the plant saying it's for sale, however Gamo/Daisy could potentially lease back some of the space for Crosman if it's sold to a new owner. That could make sense for all parties.

I think we'll need to wait and see a while longer on this one.

Having been involved in takeover scenarios like this in a previous life, my experience is that there's many twists and turns along the way before everything is finalized - and plans change too.

I agree with you on the wait & see. In my last 25+ yrs of employment I was "bought & sold" four times! On the second (?) sale I listened to some fellows complaining about this. I asked one if the checks were still good / direct deposit still made it on time and did the next job come up ( traveling environmental ) or wait, till called, change much or at all? The response was "well not really". So... Things like this are what sell strong drink & make the BS shoot , but what ever comes of it , no one knows till it's over.

For individual orders it seems strange to ship everything to AR then out to the consumer but for retail orders it makes perfect sense.

When a retailer places an order for all of our products (Daisy, Gamo, Crosman, Benjamin etc.) they can ship from one place as 1 order. We send pallets of product out to retailers. So, keeping all of the inventory in once location makes sense.

We will build a pallet of Marauders and add any replacement parts needed onto that pallet and ship it out to AR. Then they can distribute as needed. It is more efficient this way and saves on operating costs.

They have been bought out by Gamo/Daisy and some operations have been shifted across the border to Arkansas

That explains why we’re still waiting for the hammer/spring assembly for the 2021 Challenger. Parts must have been shipped to AR.
