Got this thing when I was about 12. Had it for less than a year before my sister got me blamed for something she did (like usual older sisters do) in turn, revoking my air rifle privileges. Time went by and the 2200 was forgotten.
I found it again while going through my late grandparents estate this past year. It was in rough condition to say the least. Stored/stowed away out in the garage rafters. Rust and dust covered. I thought...man that thing probably doesn't even pump. However, I do not give up so easily! I grabbed it up and function tested it.
It wasnt seized up internally. Now does she sling? Time to take her home and tinker about.

Got the rust knocked off and had her shining again. Oiled everything amd let it soak in a bit. Went to test her out. She would function but not at all like it should have. First pellet went out of the barrel but only a few feet. I thought that maybe it just needed some more movement to get her going again. After the 3rd pellet try; the pellet never left the barrel. It was at that point that I was sure that it needed taken apart. Ordered some new internals. Looked online to find that there was only 1 other spot of information on the insides of this slinger. So I took what info I could find and when the parts came in; got to work on my first ever teardown. It took me just under an hour before it was functioning with factory fps numbers over the chronograph!

If anyone ever needs help with this specific model. I have LOADS of pictures for the internals. As well as some pointers on the whole process.
Feel free to let me know anytime with comments/suggestions or questions.
