Central location with good logistics infrastructure. Same reason you see a lot of national warehouses in an area from Ohio to Nebraska, between the Dakotas and Gulf Coast states.

Way it is today there lucky to be in a free state that don't attack them. They can actually step out the door and try there products out not hide in a basement.

They all were in cahoots with daisy headquartered in Bentonville and got foot in USA market door .. umarex as well, gamo bought in daisy, ect..

A lot of gun & gun accessory manufacturers are moving or have moved to more shooting sports friendly locations. Mostly applies to firearms, but likely some residual effect for the airgun industry. To much of the public, a sub-12 air rifle & an AK-47 are one & the same.

The norma buy from ruag. I was hoping the norma pellets would be made there in that big plant investment and have them pellets mor available in more local stores .. bit not so far .. just cheap selling mail order ..lol. Like that pa deal . Use to get them local but not any more ..

i would say bcause Reminton facilaty they bought and then gama or who ever bought daisy. why not it was a large enoughh facility.

@AtlasAirguns I’ve wondered this as well. Having worked a stint in the state I saw a significant number of manufacturing plants in Arkansas. I never looked into it but I suspect that the tax laws may make Arkansas a relatively friendly state to industry and manufacturing. Barra is also up there.

there use to be a LOT more manufacturing around here but so much has shut down.

One other factor about Arkansas - particularly Bentonville - is that this is where Walmart is based. Many companies see that as sufficient reason to be located in the same town, or thereabouts.

we had lots of manufactoring log before wallmarts including the old old daisy facility.
the fortsmith area had masive amounts.
from here you can go north south east ot west with ease?

I believe next we shall figure out who shot Kennedy, how the Pyramids were built, and most importantly is Mint Chip better than Rocky Road ice cream, and why?

I would like to go to Arkansas again someday. How cool would it be to visit some of these larger companies? Cool stuff. The state itself is much more beautiful than I had pictured in my mind. It reminds me a bit of West Virginia.
