Self-Loading Changes to the Western Rattler?

Have any changes been made to the Western Rattler? Are there any differences in the earlier production models versus the more recently produced Rattlers? If so, what are the differences?

Hello

The only changes have been a carbon shroud in place of the alloy one on the early guns. Also small improvements are made to my understanding constantly. Spring quality, materials, finishing etc.

@AOA ROB Thanks for the response. That's some of what I was wondering. Is the carbon shroud purely an improvement to make the rifle lighter or does is have improved sound dampening properties as well? For older Western Rattlers (and Sidewinders) is there a way to obtain upgraded parts (springs, shroud, etc) for older guns?

According to the owner's manual, there's an interchangable barrel kit (in the near future) so you can go between short and long versions by simply trading out one section of the carbon fiber shroud.

The Western Rattler’s moderator core has been upgraded from baffles to cones.

Old core on top, new core on bottom.
