Can anyone answer any of these questions?
I would like to get the spring dampeners ....but I don't think I am even going to try based on how BRK never responds...

I used the same 175 bar reg when testing out my springs and just changed them out to see the velocity difference between them all yellow one for me was most power gain in 30 but there was more noticeable’recoil’ gun movement, the coloured buffers have a full explanation on the brk website

So going by the table and assuming (always dangerous) that the springs are the same...I labeled them per the previous version of springs.
Lee, the Green spring is "new" for the Race .22 gun....where did it fall in your power assesment?
I will write to Brocock again asking if I can purchase the dampeners...

The best thing for you is to get the kit as there might be slight variations between the kit you get and the kit someone else gets. You need to decide first what your ultimate goal is and then adjust to get it. No one can give you 100% exact info because of differences in altitude temp humidity etc

Thanks Solo1, but those differences shouldn’t change where the green spring falls in the spring power level sequence

Not sure it would help, I haven’t measured all but at least 2 look to be the same diameter but 1 appears to be stainless and is stiffer. The lightest spring is lighter than your .47 and slightly thinner

There were originally three springs.
0.047 "light"
0.051 "medium"
0.057? "heavy"

I've messed with the first two and have a couple of the others (OEM) in my gun room that I haven't experimented with.

The 0.047 and 0.051 are same length and OD.

I committed to doing this a while ago and got sidetracked.
HP2 is in the micrometer

Ok so here ya go. Remember these measurements can vary by a few thousands the springs aren’t perfectly round and I tried to give length without compressing spring but it not easy on some. The white spring is lighter than .47 if I remember right it’s .006 thinner but a measurement will have to wait till after the match this weekend.

The steel the springs are made out of can also be different (tensile strength?) so the measurement alone isn’t always the determining factor. Unfortunately.

Was about to go do Max/Min velocity per spring...but realized that I would need to put the .22 barrel in because the LP Spring pushes the .117 H&N BM 10.65 gr 900+ ft/s with the Reg at 140 bar and the PW at 14...so the other springs would be supersonic and top out my FX V2 Pocket Chrono....plus echo off the neighbors houses ...

Yes the photo of the new spring kit clearly shows a color difference for the "yellow" spring...so that is why I want to see what the velocities are for each spring.
