BOXES in the trash-sooooo liberating

Today I went through my storage loft and got rid of some boxes. Mostly airgun and scope shipping boxes were tossed. Now I need to buy more stuff

It's funny if I throw a certain box away I end up needing it .. especially a long hard to find rifle sized box . Now I keep at least 2 folded flat put up in a out of the way place ..lol. Most common sized / square boxes can be chunked safely.

I unfortunately can’t hold on to anything so I always keep the box and overbox and any other packaging for scopes and rifles. Such a pain to ship when you have to search for boxes. And then there’s the buyer who wants to knock of fifty or a hundred bucks because you don’t have “THE ORIGINAL” box.

I would definitely keep everything but space is limited. It’s amazing how much junk collects

Ya, but kinda to what I said above ... It's junk on the pile laying around for years till I throw it away then something pops up the next day and that's when I need it the most and can't find another ...lol

I recently did this, I took all the rifle boxes, scope boxes, accutac boxes and put them in one bigger box then brought them to my parents house to put in the basement lol, they have more space than I do lol Ahhhhhhh refreshing.

I was just thinking about this yesterday. I have so many boxes for all my airgun related stuff, accessories, knives, flashlights, audio equipment, etc. It's always in the back of my head that one day I might sell them. I don't know who I'm kidding because I rarely sell stuff and it just keeps accumulating. I guess I'm in denial that I'm a hoarder lol.

I was hanging em on the wall, airgun porn. I decided my guitars look better and tossed the boxes. All my guns will probably need repair now due to this lack of foresight

Hahahaha I had an issue getting rid of boxes for a long time. I just really hated to throw away a good box. With our move cross country last year they really came in handy for lots of stuff but I’ve forced myself to get rid of my massive cardboard box hoard this year. When I say massive I mean my boxes had their own room in the house! Hahahahaha!!
I was sure as soon as I got rid of all those boxes that I’d immediately need them, but…. Fingers crossed, so far so good. 99% of them are gone and the world hasn’t ended yet.

The box my Omega Air Charger arrived in is massive and I still have it. I’m contemplating just throwing it out but if I need to send the compressor for repair ill

Same here with my Alkin W31 vertical. Box is as big as a mini fridge. And there’s a skid too. Only way I would part with Alkin is if I die or give up on airguns. And if I die my son might take up airgunning as a default, if not, the wife will have the box and crate. Meanwhile it sits up in the attic awaiting its fate.

I take old boxes break them down and any packing material and use it as filler material in my target box ( Which was also a shipping box ) Even the old paper targets ball them up and stuff them through the holes, handy like a built in trash can.

That moment you realized you might be spending too much $$ on air rifles bc you can't afford an end table? Just kidding.....I have the box (among others) for my bog death grip tripod from Christmas in basement. I love it but the pan swivel doesn't swivel and it's a known issue apparently (I took the clamp right off) so i may be sending it back but instead ima gonna try fix it right now!
