If u go bipod I'd spring for the quick detach feature for sure. Wouldn't want a bipod without it. Went night hunting once with an affixed one....it was silly heavy after a while

Ok just learned something new, lol and this bipod just became Waaay more awesome! I was pesting some tiny birds at 40-45Y with my Ghost and offhand was not really an option (didnt want to hit hay bales!). Well I swung bipod left leg forward, right leg rearward, dropped on one knee, cracked the bipod tilt lever and got Ghost straight and voila! Solid, stable (even on a rickety fence!) and bagged a sparrow and a starling off these wagons, 2 shots, 2 kills. This again proves to me that the pan feature on bipods is just dead weight.
