Just shoeshine back and forth tumble

Bullet point from Benjamin
  • Longer tumbling times minimizes flash

I’ve had good results in the past with hand washing the old Eun Jin .25 pellets with dawn dish detergent and then lining a empty pellet tin with paper towels and adding about 10 drops of a synthetic 2cycle oil to the paper towel and then putting the washed and dried pellets into that can and shaking it around gently. The oil would coat them pretty well and I got greatly improved accuracy out of them. I have a marauder that really loved them. I even cleaned out each pellet skirt with a q-tip. Might sound silly but I kind of enjoyed doing something tiny and meticulous on a rainy winter day while I listened to some Trampled by Turtles music or something of the sort, waiting for my wife to holler that dinner was ready. Now I haven’t had that rifle out in years and I don’t spend any time washing pellets anymore, but I do have some plans for the Notos to occupy myself with this winter.

Side note: I always picked out the damaged pellets while I was washing and drying them also, and no doubt this played the greatest part in the improved accuracy.
It was always amazing to see how much crap that was washed away from even one can’s contents.
Other side note: Someone please fix the misspelling in the title of this thread because it’s driving me nuts!! Hahahahhaha

All fixed! Sorry about that!

Can’t wait to try them. Just put a regulator in my Marauder. Shooting Crosman Premiers in the tin. They are pretty good but would like better. Never tried the boxed pellets, may have to.
