Spring/Piston Tx200 & Benjamin match grade 14.3 gr pellets 🏆

So im out here testing every single pellet in 22 i have. The last Tx200 shot the Crosman Domed 14.3gn lights out, so it's no surprise what conclusion i have reached

I went through all the Jsb,H&N,JTS, AirArms even barra pellets till I got to what I kind of knew was going to be the winner anyways.

Enter the benjamin match grade 14.3gn pellets. LIGHTS OUT shooting at 30 yards and the rifle is still 400 or more shots out from being properly broken in. But she is doing well. I still have alot of practice to do before im back into the swing of spring

I got this rifle to use for the Pyramid Air Gunslinger springer class. Not sure if this will be the one as there is alot of unnecessary movements I.E beartrap & automatic safty. Both slow you down. Gunslinger is a game of seconds. So every one counts.

Man, that thing is gorgeous! Horrible choice though for speed shooting. Id take a break barrel all day, everyday over an underlever, lol.
Mine is .177/13fpe and has quite the opposite in ammo tastes. I've had respectable groups with 7.9gr crosmans but REAL good 10shot groups (usually around 3/4") with JTS, H&N FTT, and JSB in 4.52. I also am zeroed for 30Yards. Are your first 1 or 2 shots low if its sat for a few days? Very curious.

No the rifle is spot on each time out of the case. Gun slinger springer was won with a TX200, lots of break barrels in the comp that got spanked. The big thing in Gun slinger spring is missing. They are the big denominator. I did my homework and watched pcp Gun slinger for 4 years before taking the leap. Watching the fastest shooters and what the did good but also what they did bad. Using my skill set as a fast shooter any ways I took all the knowledge I learned with hours & hours of practice with me into my rookie season as a speed shooter and took a podium finish. I have done the very same with springer. I have two other rifles in mind to test before I make my final decision on what comes to the cup with me in 2026.

Yeah i either burn the first 2 shots, aim higher, or just let them land as they may.
What did you mean by: "The big thing in Gun Slinger spring is missing. They are the big denominator" ?
If i compare my Slavia 630 (light, HW30-like cocking, long barrel) to my TX id guess i can rip off 1/3 more shots in any given time, but yeah its also running open sights.... Hmmm I think I will try this someday!
