Has anyone tried slugs in the 28” barrels of any caliber besides me?

It’s hard to say of there was any improved accuracy with the tensioner . I believe all the extra add on products are for marginal gains . I need to do more testing at extended ranges to get a true reading , I have not tried the 28inch pipe yet but should be able to drop reg from 175 down to at a guess around 140-150 with similar velocity’s

More thoughts on your method of install....I don't see the point of the 6 grub screws on the sleeve...so why tighten them down...only to mark the barrel, if I get this I think I wouldn't install them...
Did you see the AoA video-version of how to install? I can't believe that is "official method" from BRK...it doesn't "apply tension" by tightening those 6 grub screws...it can create a "node" and change harmonics but it certainly isn't changing tension...correct?
I find it quite odd that BRK hasn't created an official install video...does the kit come with instructions?

I did tighten them down after winding on tension

So that doesn’t change the tension, but I guess by tightening those screws there you create a node that will also potentially change harmonics yes?

Lee unrelated question....have you figured out how to minimize the first couple shots being lower velocity when the rifle hasn't been shot for several hours?
Are you aware if BRK is working on improving - fixing this?

Interesting...177hp? My first several shots are >40 ft/s slower, takes several shots till it stabilizes...if you don't mind sharing you HP tune and projectile, I will set mine up the same and see what I get.

16 J = 11.8 ft lb so that is your sub 12, but what is your HP set up? is that also 177 barrel or 22?
I just went upstairs and shot my 177 HP, so that was about 2.5 hrs since previous shots (starlings at the feeder). The FX Pocket v2 on the barrel registered 829,838,852,855,860, H&N BM 10.65 gr
