Funny story there. A Paradigm .30 was on my wants list so I looked on AofA and like you stated, OUT OF STOCK on AofA site.
So being I wasn’t really ready to order yet I emailed AofA and asked what the lead time might be on one. About 10 minutes later Rich at AofA calls my cell phone, I’ve spent way to much of my paychecks there.
He says “Hey Randy, this is Rich at AofA I just happened to have one of those in stock”. I’m like, wow I’m not really ready at the moment I was just curious how long it would take.
Rich has one heck of a sense of humor. He’s dangling this gourmet carrot, telling me “it’s exactly what I want”. I ask if he used to sell used cars. He laughs and keeps dangling that carrot and using all kinds of humor. I finally told him I hate him and said OK I’ll take the money out of the bank and eat Ramen noodles till I repay myself. About a week later it arrived. I’ve only had it to the range twice to sight in out to 50yds. My intended purpose is for hunting at two permissions I have to stop critters from eating the maple syrup tubing, year round. Good times. I had been using my Crown .25, which worked fine but I just couldn’t see myself living without a Paradigm. I was going to keep the two Crowns I have but when the Paradigm got in my hands and ALL the great things I’ve read and watched on AAA’s I sold them and got the Evol .22 15”. I prefer to plink with .22 because of the economy. I also plink with my AA HFT500 .177. It is on par with the AAA’s in my opinion, I plink with it too.
