The Ghost doesn't perform anywhere near as well as this, great gun but no comparison, better trigger, more power, more ability to customize. I've used both guns extensively so am not speaking hearsay.

I noticed that right away looking at the info. I have a ghost HP, and red wolf HP. This will run with those with only a 17" barrel. They did some magic here. Going to be interesting as the field reports unfold.

Well ive shot redwolves , i have 2 ghosts 2 reveres and many other guns ,i also have an anschutz 9015 with the best trigger i have ever used and none of them are in the upper end of the blackwolf price range and im willing to bet my ghosts would shoot right along with the blackwolf. Someone has to speak up about these ridiculous prices!

I find it interesting that the low end of the Blackwolf range is less than a new Ghost. Something for everyone. Looks like they nailed it. The buyers will decide.

I do think some of our most love high end guns are priced high but I have more in my EVOL then I would have in the Black Wolf that as my eye?

Actually the Black Wolf trigger is designed off the anschutz, the price reflects the time involved to engineer a new product. This is something the average consumer never really thinks about, it's not just throwing a hunk of metal into a machine and crapping out a gun. Chances are they will come down but in this world you have to pay to play. It's not for everyone but like I said it's of zero comparison to the Ghost. I think people get irritated because they spend so much to have what they think is the greatest and then something else comes along that cost even more. Haha

I bought my 1st ghost for $1900 or a bit over don’t remember exact price give them a while the price will go up!! And im not knocking the gun it does look good would have been happy to see it come out before the redwolf did and i bet you would have gotten it for less then! I could go out and buy a new 22lr and 15-20000 rounds for less so think about that and today you havd to pay almost as much for pellets as lr ammo just how does that seem right?

My ghost is set at 6 oz black wolf cant sasy that. Don’t think im your average idiot.

The price is a bit high indeed, but not much more than a Ghost and its expected to me. It kinda works like this: A Killer new PCP comes out and people flock to it. They get ordered and pre ordered. Then after a while other guns sales slump (partially bc no one is buying them and also bc people are trading theirs in or selling privately as they have a black wolf now!). These guns go on sale and the consumer can benefit from getting one at a good price new or used. My dealer told me when i bought my Ghost that it outright hurt alot of the other Brk model sales for him. Guess what...now lots of them are going on sale to move em. And so it goes. I'd take one in laminate or wood...you can keep the tactical version🤣😍

A new Ghost is $2400 now. A box of fifty for my .22lr is $8-$22 dollars. I pay around $16 for a tin of premium pellets. Not sure what point that you're trying to make, but I hope that clarifies it a bit.

When you can buy cci std for $40 for 500 tell me its different than buying 250 jsb that can’t maintain .02 grain each where the big difference is

Well, the difference would be that while I use STD velocity in my match pistols, it won't chamber in my rifles, so that's a problem. Also, it is not nearly as accurate as the stuff I use, which is why it costs half to a quarter as much as the stuff I use. But hey, you win, reality is whatever you say it is. I hope that you have a great day, and enjoy yourself.

Oh i understand what your saying and im not trying to start a fight but if you compare similar 22lr rifles to similar daystate rifles (Blackwolf) using similar ammo to obtair similar fpe you will see that there really is no comparison.
Take a 23” 25 cal Blackwolf with a bottle and walnut stock wich is over $3000 and makes max 84 fpe and compare to a anschutz 1761 d hb 2 stage light trigger that sells gor less than $2000 cost if pellets and ammo and i need to buy a compressor for the blackwolf and you start to see what im getting at. The black wolf lags behind by s bunch! Oh the 1761 vel 1044 and 97 fpe i have 1 and your shooting slugs vs pellets bc .12 vs .06 ? Oh and its like $20 for 300 33.9 jsb

Ok, I think I'm following you. I'm strictly a pellet shooter in my Airguns. I can't imagine why I would try to get my Airguns to compete, power wise, with a .22 lr, but if I did I concede that it would be more expensive, maybe even cost prohibitive. Personally, I look at airgunning as a separate thing from my other shooting. It's like comparing apples to oranges in my mind. I have a custom shop built rifle from Anschutz so I am familiar with high end .22s. In fact, some of my most expensive firearms are custom built .22s. I think the rub, particularly in America, is we grew up with BB guns, and then pump up pellet rifles, and developed the notion that they are somehow inferior to firearms. Now, as adults we struggle to equate a quality airgun with a quality firearm as far as intrinsic value. I, personally, view them as two separate things, and value them equally based on the workmanship that went into manufacturing them.

Well lets make a simple quick comparison of the blackwolf to the revere!

Do you really think the blackwolf is still worth it as the revere will most likely shoot right along with it.

one thing I feel is over looked with airguns to fire arms is numbers. numbers as in how many whats the volume.
a firearm is selling in massive numbers compared to air guns.
volume matters in manufacturing.
if we seen as many air riffle being sold as you seen in a firearm the prices would be more comparable.
as to pellets I do feel the same they should not be as costly or relitify close to a .22 Lr but again its numbers volume matters.
