I was clearing gutters and blowing leaves for most of the day. Finished about 3:15 pm. Then decided to plink black walnut husks with my Ghost from 25 to 64 yards. Then I sat back to enjoy a brew and a smoke and to overwatch my yard. I heard this little fellow first, then spotted it with it my binoculars, ranged it at 72 yards. 6 MOA of holdover and 1/2 MOA for wind. I saw it fall DRT through my scope. The first image shows it as it landed. The second image the headshot as it was silohuetted towards me. Ghost Carbine sending JSB Exact Jumbo 18.13s…🙏

Ha! The wife would shoot me if I harmed one of her squirrels! It's been snowing so We put a little House and a bowl of sunflower seeds inside to keep them Dry! lol

Lucky for me my wife understands that some, not all, critters have to be dispatched… I let them be until they become actual pests…

Agreed. The peanuts and Sunflower seeds have kept them away from any Car wiring! LOL They don't even try to climb the Bird feeders. When hunting it has always been Coyotes. She has never complained about that.

I think have told this before but?
I day the wife headed for the shower then I hear a scream and her the a tree rat where doing labs in there with the water raining down.
it had chewed its why into the attic and then into the house.
as well I have had countless amount of damage so

I vote they all die.

My wife still won't let me shoot squirrels despite the fact that they chewed through the rain gutter and fascia, got into the attic and chewed on everything. Fortunately, no wiring damage but in addition they've ruined 6 bird feeders. I have no love for bushy tailed rats !!!!

My wife understands… And I never show her the kills. She witness me dispatch a woodchuck once and was not happy…🙈

Last resort maybe but....what if you shot one and fried it up for her?! 😏
Good shooting @Luis Leon! Are you still thinking about barrel swapping (or caliber changing) your ghost these days or not so much?

I have decided to leave my Ghost as is… It is my most powerful but least used PCP. The Pathfinder and Atomics are ruthless in asserting their lower power goodness…🙏 If I swapped to a bigger caliber it would get used even less.

Thinking of getting a 22 carbine barrel for my delta wolf. What reg pressure are you running in the ghost for 18 gr pellets and at what speed ? Thanks man.
Am running it as received from AOA…🙏

Very nice setup and great kill. Another one down!

How fun! The Ghost carbine is my favorite version of the Ghost. I have taken many critters with it, the biggest being rock chucks aka yellow-bellied marmots. Mine is a .177 (sub-20FPE) with a couple of additions:
- Form grip and cheek rest (AMAZING addition)
- BRK short moderator
- Trigger work from AOA

Since this picture, I have made a couple of changes including replacing the 300cc bottle with a 480cc and changing the moderator to a 0DB 110 (slimmer design to allow clearance for the longer bottle).
