3D printers for airgun parts??

I admire your position, but even this forum censors. Comments are held etc. I don't want to drop into a political discussion, but I can't see that as a reason NOT to buy this particular printer. But I respect your right to choose otherwise. Again, I haven't been censored or had prints banned-the only delays were when their servers were overwhelmed when first launched.

It's your printer and your choice, I choose to not comply and went another route.

I have had an Anycubic Vyper for a couple of years gave it to my son and grandson, with the deal being make me stuff as needed. They are terrible at getting me stuff so, I might let them see my new S1 combo :>)

Apparently there are other print companies that maintain control over prints. I like Prusa's repository "printables.com" and the print is copied to a usb, then plugged into the printer. But, Bambu labs will allow you to print in "LAN" mode where you are working on an internal LAN or by copying files over on a microSD. If you are willing to fork over more $$ for encryption, they offer a printer that offers security on the printer as well-guess they could still prevent you from printing. But let's say I had a piece of intellectual property aka a print that I posted on one of the selling sites (where you can purchase files to print for a nominal fee), I'd like the idea of someone being able to prevent leechers from printing the file, that is stealing MY intellectual property.

When you look for sources from Bambu Labs themselves they say that all of it is false and they will not require any of that. Seems something someone came up with and was either leaked or completely fake.

There are ALWAYS ways around lock downs or restrictions. But that isn't what this forum is for.....nor what this thread was started for.

You did bring up the Bambu printer so it's still very much within the OP.

Anyway...

You will find hundreds of uses for the printer, airgunning prints for tank supports, gun hangers, scope storage (hangers), magazine storage, gun stands, bottle stands, eyeshades, grips, bag riders, monopods, pellet dishes, sorting screens (get a good set of reamers).

So much more!

@ranchonodinero for something that will be used outside, high humidity, or in a car you should be using PETG or ASA with PETG being easier to print. Think all the CF PLA is going to be is stronger.

That was a test part to see if things lined up correctly and would work. Feels good and the eye weld is good. May change the aperence a little, and extend the pad.

I like that idea! I keep my Ghost mag half full in it's case (pesting rig!) for fear of weakening the spring over time by keeping it full.

I have 3 Bambu PS1's with AMS and 2 Bambu A1 Minis. Great printers. I have printed rifle vises, mods, various rifle accessories and recently a stock adapter for the Barra 250z. I use the printers for a lot of other things as well. I originally purchased them to print hardware for my custom Blackmagic video streaming cases. Not to mention all of the dragons, fidget toys, signs and more that have been printed.

Any guesses as to what it will be for? Oh and one thing I learned the HARD way..... make sure you save your progress when you are designing things! It really isn't fun when you have to start all over from scratch!

I'm focusing on customer items for now I'll let all the new startups flood the market with thier offerings then I'll pick up the niche items.

I ordered the same setup its getting delivered thursday, seems like a big improvement over my Vyper.
