what compressor was you using that failed?

Have been using a tuxing for about 3 years. So got my money out of it for sure

the omega super charger is much more compressor from the looks.
do you fill tanks or just fill the gun?

Mainly I fill my tanks especially after getting a regulator I tether much more now.

You can take the regulator thing one step further as well. I have one of the gold regs and use it with an EdGun Peazy to fill my guns. I keep the reg set to 260 bar when I am not tethering and I can just hook up to the airgun and fill until the air stops knowing I always get a 260 bar max fill - which gives me right about 250 bar after the cool down.

Well no pictures from this weekend. I did hit up a local farm, but with the wind and rain nothing was moving around. The HPS30 is extremely easy to walk around with and doesn't get heavy at all.

I am planning on hitting the range tomorrow to get the gun dialed in with the ZAN benchrest ammo. Planning on using this for the NRL22 match on Sunday.

Well I was at the range today after work getting things set up for my NRL22 match on Sunday. Was doing testing with the JSB 44.7, 50.8, the JTS 45.06, and the ZAN 56. All of them shot outstanding at 50 yards with the ZAN giving me a large single hole group. Moved out to 75 and 100 yards and was starting to see what these pellets would do. Was getting right at 877 with the ZAN pellets and some respectable sized groups, and then I would get 2 or 3 shots that would go about an inch or two high!! When I looked at my Chronograph numbers I was seeing around 20-30 fps HIGHER! Not knowing what was going on, and thinking it was something with the pellets. I checked the regulator and I was right on the regulator set point if not going a little lower.

Getting a little frustrated, and fighting a headache from the big powder burners on the next bench. When I got home I wanted to give Tom a call and see if he could shed any insight. I was wanting to talk about setting the hammer adjuster with the balanced valve. While talking with Tom we talked about a few different things about the rifle and what is coming out.

Talking with Tom I got the hammer spring adjuster set correctly, and Tom also had insight with the velocity increasing as the rilfe goes off the regulator. Having the regulator adjusted to high will cause this to happen with the balanced valve he has designed.



Remember this chart when you are looking at a tune for the rifle. I have my air cylinder aired back up and ready to go for tomorrows shooting session.

The 56gr br would group well for me about 60% of the time , so 5 or 6 shots from a mag. I could not get them to group at all..

I wonder if you have the v2 56 grainers, I found my pile of zans to be worse in consistency than MRD.

Woogie, it might be a good idea to weight sort those pellets. Whenever I see bigger differences in flight and or flier's like that it is usually because of a light and or deformed projectile.

The velocities were spiking from coming off of the regulator. I backed the regulator down and will work to the pressure that Tom has in the spreadsheet. Going to try and mimic thr numbers he was seeing

Do these regulator settings only apply to the soon to be released model(s)?
