I’ll, bet they’re coming. I had a long text conversation with Corbin about the dies for the new slugs and it sounded like it.

I have shot sub 1/2” pellet groups and MOA slug groups at 100-103yds with it. Can I do that every time: no, but that’s on me and the wind. Which just reinforces what I posted above about misplaced expectations for slugs. I’ve been expecting too much in my opinion.

Yes, that's my experience too. If you can shoot better groups with pellets, why continue to screw around with slugs? I found that it's a losing battel. I have boxes and boxes of slugs that are only good for fishing sinkers. I've given up with slugs long ago, and I just don't understand why our community still wants to use them. They don't live up to their expectation regardless of their better BC.

I agree with 1 caveat i think you have to drive them over 1000 fps which ive only been able to do in 177. Recently i shot 40 grain air marksman to 900 fps and 33 gr air marksman to 960 from my drs tactical 700 mm the 33 printed 4” higher using the same aim point than the 40’s even though the 40’s bc is supposed to be twice that of the 33. This was at 100 yds

My FX Panthera MKII has changed my opinion somewhat. It shoots slugs and pellets better than my ability allows.
