Got a new tripod today! After extensive research, I hope I made the right choice. I want something that can be used tabletop, but sturdy and tall enough for the field. After a pretty exhausive search, I found a carbon fiber Sirui. The leg lenght is short enough for a really solid bench unit, and long enough for the field, at 52" from the bottom of the saddle. The legs start at 29+++mm and it comes with a rock solid 43mm ball and arca setup.

I played with it tonight and I am really happy with it, and the price was right! $160 for the tripod a$29 for the saddle.

Thanks for the pics. I've been on the hunt for quite a while for a light weight tripod. Most important to me is the thoughts they have about their purchase. Keeping in mind how it applies to our airgun community

I’m trying to lower the tune on the Marauder G3. I lowered it to about 1250psi, but the heat is brutal and the reg has crept up to about 1400 psi.? The heat index maxes out at 125f and then reads HI. It hit HI today. It makes it hard for an old man to do much. I went in the house and Elaine has EBR videos running on the TV
