Huntsman Huntsman Revere for "wife"

We had a brand new shooter at Rio yesterday for Field Target and what gun did he buy  ...Yup you guessed it a Huntsman....He did really good on a pretty challenging course. His smile told the whole story when the scores were said at the end of the match.

P.S. I had to roll up my long sleeve shirt yesterday because it got so warm :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

@Pesty3782 speaking from snowy upstate New York I really feel your pain about the temperature in Phoenix 😢

Ok, I'll be the weirdo (not much of a stretch)...

4°F yesterday morning while shoveling the driveway. Little wind though, & sun was out. Rather enjoyed the the task 🥶

0°F this morning. We have no degrees, none. Fresh out. Dead calm, so not that bad.

As with pellets at distance though, wind is a royal pain to deal with.

I can dress for this. 102 in the shade, not so much. Can only take so many clothes off before folks get uncomfortable & say crazy things like "sir, I'm going to call the police" etc, etc. 😜

Back on target...
Agree the Huntsman is an excellent FT rifle, though I'd prefer it about a pound heavier.

Always been my problem with heat too. So I moved to a place where it rarely gets cold (under 40f) or hot (above 85f). Probably only San Diego has better weather than Oakland.

I agree, if the Huntsman was a tad heavier for offhand I think that would help. I put this on the huntsman and it does help for off hand shooting.

The Rowan hampster is a perfect match for off hand.

I bought a Daystate Huntsman Revere Safari .22 from AOA last September and really liked It so much I had to get the .177 version. I ordered It a few days before the July 4th weekend (Thanks Jake AOA) and have been having a ball taking out a group of Tree Rats that wiped out my Japanese Apricot Harvest. Maybe the .25 version Is in my foreseeable future too.
