What'cha doing air gun related today?

Edgun pcp this morning, Beeman R7 177 this evening. I was just plinking with my R7 and this idiot was watching from a utility line and come down into the bird feeder. High power and low power headshots, both dead below the feeder.
The R7 is a great springer

I was going to use one of my kids pumpkins after Halloween, he really liked them.
Turns out our Florida temperature does a number on them, we had to through them away after 3 days outside 😂
Rot mold and flies.
It's not the heat, it's the humidity right? Lol. I've been to Florida in June and it was so hot i thought i was going to die!

Months ago, I modified the ,308 Texan (467 fpe) but I then dialed it back for acracy and i don't need to over stress any parts for safety reasons. Now it was the AEA Challenger 357 big bore turn lol, in the past i polished the barrel and worked on the trigger. This time it was to open up the air ways. The pcp in stock form is 275-290 fpe and at 3000 psi with 150gr, any higher it starts valve lock but, not so after opening up the lungs i gained 100 psi, the reason why you see mixed numbers was because i was testing psi, when valve lock was happening and everything re setting. Sometimes thing don't settle until after 20 shots. testing was done tethered. later that day i was getting these numbers, I will be doing more testing at a later date and keep in mind the temp, can't wait to see the fpe with 214gr.
Serious power brother! That's some impressive numbers.

Thank you, the best thing is it's all about making it more efficient , It has a 4500 fill Rait and I have no need to go over 3200 psi. It just goes to show we don't need more complicated pcp to make more power, we need to make the design's we already have more efficient. There were no new parts added, just made it breath better and more efficiently.

How many shots did you say you got at the 3200 psi?

So the other night on "tour" with the kids found a gun rack someone had thrown to the curb. Today I finally dusted it and reassembled in the correct layout so the stock "lock" works. Now mounted and holding its first dance partners. Eventually it will be my pumper honor stand. Also want to add some felt or leather for where the guns touch...

This is what I did instead of my planned "fall for pumpers" shoot with the Anniversary Legacy 1000.20251104_170810.webp20251108_142652.webp20251108_154544.webp

I know right, it's my favorite rifle.

Received new handrail for my MAX1 from EVOLVE 3D. He is a great guy to work with and his products are top notch. Saw he had a hand rail for the NOTOS and ZELOS so inquired about the MAX1. Sent him images and measurements and he modified his product to fit my MAX1 perfectly. Now waiting on someone to make a video of opening the ports to let this thing breath.

Stayed busy for a few hours today, before the arctic front started dropping in on us. Added new glass and the 33machine 1/2x20 adaptor to my Pinty Pup, and did same for my Akela .22 with the DonnyFL front end. Even managed to get them both zeroed at 30ish yards, and ventilated a boar squirrels noggin off the power line. Little beast was near 40 yards away, wouldn't stop barking at me, and didn't have sense enough to run. I zeroed both my pups using the 15.89 grain Hades. Lower ft lbs energy, but boy are they accurate!. I gotta get another Speedo guard to see how fast these little pills are flyin!

Excellent find there! Great collection of Red Riders as well! Hahaha, I've got a teal one and a pink one!(2 grand daughters!)
PapaT, you see my post and Pic of the new Pintys coming out ? Might wanna give it a couple weeks before you buy that new JTS .25!
I have a pink one, but they are technically not red ryder.

I didn't see your post, but Nibs talked about it on his most recent pinty video.
