HW50 Jubilee Model Is A One In A Thousand Opportunity

The special, limited edition HW50 Jubilee Model is a one in a thousand opportunity! It’s produced to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the introduction of Weihrauch’s longest-running air rifle.

In fact, Weihrauch produced it’s first air rifle, the HW Model 50V, in 1950. This airgun had a smooth bore because of Allied Occupation Government rules. Eventually, the the production of rifled barrels was allowed, resulting in the HW50S that we know today.

This exclusive model features a striking blue-grey laminated wood stock, adorned with unique checkering and laser engraving, including a “75” on the pistol grip to commemorate the milestone.

The “75 Years” theme is repeated on the compression tube, together with the serial number of that particular gun; for example 0001 of 1000.

The HW50S was one of the first airguns reviewed by the then-new Hard Air Magazine, back in May 2016. It was a HAM Gold Award winner, of course!

At that time, we described the HW50S as having superlative accuracy, outstanding consistency and a beautiful finish. Our conclusion was that – if you want to shoot targets, silhouettes, plink and undertake some small pest control – the HW50S demands serious consideration through it’s wonderfully-implemented old-fashioned virtues.

We see no reason to change that assessment in September 2025.

Now, back to the HW50 Jubilee Model…

Just 1,000 units of this special HW50S are being manufactured and are being sold world-wide. HAM believes that, actually, 999 will be sold worldwide in .177 and .22 calibers. “Number One” will undoubtedly be preserved in the Weihrauch factory museum in Mellrichstadt, Baveria, Germany.

Airguns of Arizona has secured a supply of this new, limited-edition model and has them available now for pre-order with a minimal $25.00 deposit. That will be deducted from the $649.99 final price when the gun is ready for shipping to you.

AoA also offers the lucky purchaser the additional cost options of a warranty extension and/or tune. There’s also a super-tune option, including a Vortek PG4 kit. Details of these tune options can be found on the Airguns of Arizona website.

Just as I did with AoA's offering of the HW97K Walnut, I belieeve that I'll offer one of these in .22 cal. first thing in the morming. My dear wife has alsredy met with our HOA chair to contract another bolted-down gun safe for me. Oboy, oboy for me. Orv.

Well I suppose nothing to lose. Just seems a reluctance to ship things from many places to the U.S. right now. Maybe not guns definitely smaller items though. Who knows what the tariff might be by the time it ships. Probably paranoia but on the geopolitical level there is an anti America coalition of countries that are furthering their ties to each other in light of all this, although Europe doesn’t seem part. Who knows the outcomes down the road.

To my knowledge, Airguns of Arizona receives frequent, regular deliveries from Weihrauch in Germany and this is continuing. I would expect these guns to be part of a shipment in a soon-forthcoming delivery.

In my experience AoA honors the price at the time the pre-order was made. The Black Wolf I ordered went up hundreds of dollars, but AoA held the price in my order. Stand up shop.

Wonderful little rifle. I like that the stock is conducive to iron sight shooting. I am excited to receive mine.

When I placed my order with Darren this week, there were only 13 of these rifles in stock. Darren didn't say whether more were expected. I'd been holding out all of the last year hoping for the walnut stocked 50S's would be coming in, but apparently not. . . thus, my beautiful blue laminate rifle awaits me. Orv
