What'cha doing air gun related today?

Entry level: under $1,000
Mid level: $1000 - $2000
High level: $2001 - $3000
Nuts level: $3001+
That’s kind of what I was thinking too. It’s kind of always been like this. In the 70’s and early 80’s the premier match air rifle was the Feinwerkbau 300s which if I remember right sold for around $1200 back then. That would be $3900 in today’s dollars.

Installed a cantilever scope mount, bipod mount and baffles. Also finished my Pellet trap a few minutes ago. Filled with old jeans and backed by a self sealing cutting board for easy pellet retreavel. I can either replace the cardboard insert or hang a paper target with the mounted clip. Ignore the .22 caliber hole in the clip 🫣

Dang bro that’s a sweet setup! You getting a lot of trigger time in?

I tried another foster valve on my PP750 fill fitting to try and get one that will hold air. Doing a 24 hour test now.

I put a Veyron 3-12 on my Bullshark 177. I am looking at QD rings so I can swap between my pard and a glass scope for use. I put the Veyron on with semi quick rings, they are the style with a nut. The pard is on an Eaglevision QD rail. I zeroed the Veyron when I got home. I also pumped the HS tension up to get 13gr pellets going 860 fps.

I also shot my P35 25 cal to verify zero.

This is a couple days of casual shooting. The plate is below my bird feeder. With my new windows I’m trying to find the most stable position. I think I need a stool that is a little higher, something like 15”.

This plate has shots from my Notos, R7, Bullshark and P35 on it.

After I shot it up with the factory paint, I used a rust/paint removing disc on an angle grinder to remove everything. I applied two coats of spray paint. Less paint will make it easier to remove in the future. I used a sharpie to make my target lines. The next paint will be tan, to help it blend in with my fence a little better.

I brained this dude at 50y today with the karma… still slug testing but took the reg out to hit it with some reg butter so I kinda had to restart with the reg. Anyways I had the 52gr Javelins in since I already know the performance I can get out of them.

50y
935fps
Great head shot at that distance! Lights out for this guy.

Today we took the CO2 Rifles to Bushes Wildlife Range. The Dragon Air QB 78 does 50 yards respectable. The Diana Chaser can do it but your dropping them in.
No great target's to show. But I was surprised as I am every year when I take that Beeman out on a 90 degree plus day. It's a Fun shooter.
I may get a QB79 someday to go with it.

These are great simple and fairly accurate rifles! I've still got an old QB79 i got from Baker Airguns years ago i still enjoy shooting on occasion!
